I grabbed my bag and walked out of the room. I walked out the building to Tae who was waiting patiently for me by the pond.

" Ready?" He smiled

" Yeah" I said in a low tone

" What's wrong?" He stopped

" Can't I just...drive myself home from class, I feel like a little kid when you come and pick me up"

" Why? You don't want your other niggas to see you with me?" I rolled my eyes and begin to walk away

He trailed behind me all the way to the car. We sat in the car for a second silently staring at each other.

" What the fuck is wrong with you Tae?"

" What's wrong with me? Nah, what's wrong with you? I know you got somebody other than me"

" See that's what I'm talking about, you keep on assuming shit that's not true. I don't have nobody on the side. Nobody. Can you stop acting so insecure?" He shifted towards me

" Im acting insecure? Now you just making shit up" he said

" Tae I am not fucking with nobody else! I am not talking to nobody! Why aren't you believing me?" My loud voice caught the attention of the people standing outside

He turned his head and started the car. I huffed and sat back. What is going on with him.

He drove home and as soon as he got in he snatched my phone away and walked upstairs.

" Tae!" I yelled but he didn't respond

I took off my shoes and walked to the living room. I opened up my laptop and begin working on my project that's due in three weeks.

About an hour later he walked back downstairs and tossed my phone at me.

" Did you find anything?" I smirk. He shook his head and walked into the kitchen.

My stomach growled and my mouth begin to water. I haven't ate since I got into class

"Baby!" I called " Im stepping out" I jogged upstairs to the closet and grabbed my hoodie.

I jogged back down and grabbed my keys.

" I'll be right back" I said expecting a reply but of course 🙄

I drove to the store around the corner. I walked in and went directly to the snack isle. I filled my arms with three big bags of chips and a can of Arizona green tea.

I walked to register and rested everything on the counter.

" Did you find everything you needed?" The deep voice of the cashier caught my attention

" Yeah"

He scanned the stuff and put them in bags. He glanced up and me and smiled.

"$6.31" as I swiped my card and grabbed the two bags

" Have a nice day" I responded with a smile

I walked out of the store and into my car. I sat back and huffed in the seat.

I love Dontae, I swear. I don't think he knows how much I'm grateful to have him in my life, but he's been so fucking annoying and stressful lately. Even before the whole engagement disaster, he's been acting like I'm not faithful. I would never cheat on Tae, Not after all we've been through, NEVER.
