Heroes Legion: "Year One": Episode 12: Atlantean Dawn!

Chapter 8: Transcendence Privileges....

Seafoam Island/Danvers residence: December 24th,2013: 11:09 AM

Atlanta's eye's fluttered open and she winced in pain as they adjusted to the bright light of the tropical sun, almost like she hadn't used them in a while.

She also was a little sore, but to her surprise found that she could move her limbs again.

The broken bones hadn't completely healed, but she could at least move around in the bed she found herself in.

She with some difficulty got out of the bed she was in and got onto her feet.

She soon recognised the bedroom she was in was her old bedroom at the Danvers house, and if that was the truth...then she was back at Leanne and Charles home.

But what about Depth Charge, and the occupation?

Atlanta looked out her old bedroom's window, and to her surprise and relief found that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her.

The island was still intact, it wasn't drowned under billions of tons of ocean water and even better the tsunami wall was gone.

As if to further confirm that this was real and not a death dream or something, she felt Leanne's arms wrap around her and embrace her in a hug.

"Atlanta! You're alright!" Leanne declared.

"Yes..." Atlanta chuckled, before wincing in pain "but not if you keep squeezing me like that"

"Take it easy Leanne" sounded M-Leader's telepathic voice, "She hasn't fully recovered from her injuries yet"

"She's my sister M-Leader" said Justin as he entered the room ahead of the others, "she could have bones broken in her legs and arms, it wouldn't stop her from getting out of bed. Trust me, I know!"

Atlanta was surprised beyond words to see her brother Justin here, on the surface, here in the Danvers Family household of all places.

"Justin?" Atlanta said in disbelief, "you're here? On the surface, on Seafoam Island?"

"We're all here" M-Leader assured her as he entered the room next, followed by the rest of the Heroes Legion and...her parents, The King and Queen of Atlantis?

King Raiden and Queen Athena were here on the surface as well?

Leanne stepped out of the way as Atlanta's parents embraced her, her mother trying to keep herself from weeping all over her daughters red hair in joy as she did.

"We were all worried about you" Shadow Knight said, appearing in the room in his own special way "You were very Lucky Atlanta...not many people could go through electrocution and still manage to live through it. Even if Arcane had to have one of his medics shock you back to life with a defibrillator before it was too late. Arcane saved your life, you'd better be sure to thank him the next time you see him."

"Where is he?" Atlanta asked her Heroes Legion friends.

"He's helping fix the damage done to various places on the island with the S.L.E.E.T clean-up crew" Charles Danvers answered, "been doing that since your battle with Depth Charge"

"How long have I been out?" Atlanta asked.

"Four days" Murdoch answered, "it's Christmas Eve"
