Chapter 7: Atlanta vs Depth Charge

S.L.E.E.T Command Center, HMS Damocles: December 20th, 2013: 7:00 AM

The Sky 2000 miles away from Seafoam Island was partly cloudy, and was soaking up the early sun of the dawn.

But strangely, the currently golden orange clouds illuminated by the dawn's early light suddenly split open as if something invisible flew through them at a fast airspeed.

That was because something very well had flown right through those clouds, and was still flying through the air towards Seafoam Island even though it could not be seen.

The thing that happened to have flown through those clouds above the ocean was the Cloaked HMS Damocles and two S.L.E.E.T Air Battle-Ships making their way to where another situation was occurring.

After having solved the F.E.I.N.D plot that they had been dealing with in France where a terrorist cell with ties to that organization had been stealing anomalous materials research from a facility that was researching way's to make molecular Acceleration/ enclosed Relativity occur.

The same kind of research that Velocities father had been working on.

S.L.E.E.T managed to find them and disrupt their assault on the research facility before any civilians were killed, but most of the terrorists managed to escape with half of the materials via F.E.I.N.D's own slipstream drive devices.

After that, General Arcane had been hoping to get back to the states and talk to M-Leader regarding this little bit of information regarding the theft of research that was similar to Velocity's father's research on Acceleron particles which lead to Velocities powers.

But as usual, the world refused to relax, or even let him relax!

He had just gotten a message from Agent Smith two hours ago that told him that one of the Dark Elite, Depth Charge, had seized control of a small island in the Caribbean. The same island that M-leader had found Atlanta on.

Apparently Agent Smith was trying to contact him all night to tell him about this.

Damn Proper channels and Bureaucracy crap!

The red tape that he sometimes was forced to tolerate prevented Agent Smith from being able to react to this and authorise a strike force or call up the last resort squad to be used to help quell the "really bad" situations if ever they occurred.

This was a problem he was going to have to solve later

Now here he, the crew of the HMS Damocles and two other S.L.E.E.T Air-Battle ships were making their way as fast as they could to the island to back up the Heroes Legion (who Agent Smith confirmed were already on the island trying to deal with the situation) any way that they could.

This member of the Dark Elite could control water, but Arcane had a plan to defeat him already in mind.

He just hoped that when the Damocles got him and his soldiers there to Seafoam Island it wouldn't be too late!

Seafoam Island, Seafoam Bay: December 20th, 2013: 7:10 AM

The battle between Atlanta and Depth Charge had just started a few minutes ago.

Atlanta started the fight by flying at Depth Charge with her fist's ready to lay the hurt on the supervillain who had caused her so much pain and who had placed her loved ones in danger and took over the places she called home to spite her in some twisted revenge plot.
