Chapter 4 - Help Me
As soon as I got home I was immediately on my cell phone sobbing about Ashleigh to Mona, who listened attentively.
"It was so terrible Mona!" I wailed into the phone. "He was just laying there! He was dead!" I sobbed.
"It's okay, Alex," she replied sympathetically. "You'll get over this, you didn't even like him anyways. He was such a stalker."
But I wasn't gonna be okay. If I had just paid attention to Ashleigh, or even stood up to the bullies for him, he wouldn't be dead right now. He would still be following me everywhere and maybe even talking to me right now at the park.
I hung up the phone not even saying good-bye and turned on the news. I immediately heard a voice.
"And in the park today a teenage boy committed suicide," said the voice of the average announcer, Michelle Daniels. She was a obviously spray-tanned woman in her mid-thirties with perfect make-up and wavy black hair. Her voice was clear, but high pitched and annoying. "A suicide note has not yet been found, but police are hoping to find one soon."
That's when I realized something, I had the suicide note. . .
