Chapter 5

As soon as I realized that I had Ashleigh's suicide note I decided to rush to the Police Station.  And about five minutes after I got there, I met Gwen.  She was a tall woman, with brown hair pulled into a tight bun and super red lips. She was the officer assigned to Ashleigh's suicide case.

"Ahem, now Miss Alex what did you want to talk to me about?" she started.

"Well, actually I wanted to talk to you about Ashleigh-"

"Uh huh!" she interrupted loudly.   "So you admit that you murdered Ashleigh!" she yelled accusingly.

"Wait, what?" I asked in surprise "I never said I murdered him!  He committed suicide!"

"And you know that how?" she replied calmly.

I took out my phone. "I have his suicide note right here," I said matter a factly.  Gwen took my phone and looked it over.

"And this proves that you didn't murder him how?"

Wow she's stubborn!  "How could I have killed him?  I wasn't even in the park when it happened!  Isn't there witnesses!"

"Yes, there are," she said calmly again.

"Well then why can't they tell you that Ashleigh killed himself!" I yelled.

"Well, they are all in the hospital," she said a matter a factly.  "They are all too traumatized to speak or think!" she yelled.

This was getting worse and worse by the second.  "Well, then why do you think that I killed him and it wasn't a suicide case?!"

She looked at me all weird.  "Because I'm a cop," she said slowly like she thought I was stupid.  "And I know things!"  Now I was too traumatized to speak. . .
