Chapter Four - Magical Life

Bella's POV

Yesterday was so intense with the confessions, kissing, and stuff. I'm still in Tom's house, lying in bed in one of the rooms. We slept together but I woke up alone. I got up and went out I saw Tom talking to someone. When I got nearer I realized it was Ariane.

"You're here. " I smile at her.

"And you're also here. Oh well, you see I was just telling Mr. Riddle here that he will be getting his wand and other wizarding stuff. " she informed me.

"Go ahead and get ready Tom. " I told him.

"But Ethel, I can't leave Bella alone. A man from yesterday —"

"Ah him, that's Brady Wildon from the Ministry of Magic. When I came here I saw him asleep by the gates. I woke him up and had a chat with him. " she what?

"Did you tell him about us? Our names and anything. " asked Tom uneasily.

"Yeah. " my eyes widen I was about to react but Tom was the first to speak.

"Have you gone mad?! They might have recognized us.! " he yelled at Ariane.

"If someone here hears us they will think you've gone mad. How come you think of them recognizing you two?" Tom is furious I could tell. How could Ariane be so calm?

"How could they not?! What were you thinking? " he continues to yell.

" Know what I thought you were ready to be a wizard again but seeing you acting like this. I doubt it. " Ariane is rather bored. Seems like she's been in this kind of conversation a hundred times a day.

"Don't change the subject! " Tom is still yelling.

"I'm not changing it.! Tell me what's the limit of magic?! " now Ariane starts to yell.

"Why am I arguing with a kid? " I choose to be silent the whole time. Tom is the one acting like a kid.

"JUST ANSWER IT. "

"Okay, it can't make a person love you. " Tom answered impatiently.

"And..."

"It can't bring back... The... Dead. " oh that hit him. Ariane, you are so wise.

"There it is, I thought I would have to electrocute you so you could think of that. It's no use for them to cram all their lives thinking about how you two came back cause no magic could have done that. "

"Ariane, what did you exactly say to that man? " I asked.

"You're Bellatrix Black my aunt and you are Tom Riddle. He also asked me if Tom is my uncle and I said maybe. "

"Why is that? " Tom and I asked in chorus. Ariane just gave the two of us a look.

"Well I told him you guys aren't married and I didn't know what's your status. " she said innocently.

"You told him, in that manner of tone and my guess is he believes without a doubt. " Ariane just nodded sheepishly.

Tom's POV

After knowing that that man is no longer a threat, I feel relaxed. But I shouldn't let my guard down, I have to be sure.

"Ethel, I still can't leave Bella alone. I still don't trust that man. "

"Mr. Riddle, I also can't take both of you, that will raise suspicion. "

"I thought we're good. They can't know how we got back, so they'll just think that we're a doppelganger. "

"That's not what I mean. If they see you too together, buying wands and all — they think it's too much of a coincidence. "

"Ariane, it's okay. Just take him I can manage. "

"No, I won't leave her!" I said sternly. Ethel sighed.

"Okay, how about this, we'll settle this down. I'll call my sibling and have her accompany Bella."

"You won't buy her a wand and other stuff? "

"Not yet. "

"But why? "

"She's not yet ready. You see, she just got here and you've been here for about two weeks and Dad told me to make you a wizard again. "

"Bella, breakfast is in the kitchen, and Ethel we won't leave till that sibling of yours will arrive. I'll just go freshen up. " I immediately went to my room and changed. When I'm done I saw Ethel coming out of the bathroom.

Thirty minutes later, a girl around Ethel's age arrives. We then went our way to Diagon Alley. There Ethel bought me my wand and other wizarding stuff, like phials, knives, & owls. Ethel allowed me to Apparate at the gates of my house. I'm thankful that I still knew how.

When I arrived home I saw Bellatrix's note saying she'd gone home with Ethel's sister. I feel frustrated cause I let her slip out of my grasp. I admit I'm new to this feeling and I feel stupid. I'm literally ninety years old and I just learned how to love, how frustrating is that?

I decided to organize the things that Ethel bought for me.

Time skips

Bellatrix's POV

I'm preparing a breakfast sandwich when I heard a knock on the door. I wipe my hands clean and make my way to the door. When I opened it, it was Ariane.

"I have great news for you! " she beamed. " Today you will be getting your wand and other stuff. " she continued.

I blink, am I hearing it right? I'm gonna be a witch again! To my joy, I hugged her, it was kinda awkward when I pulled away but she just shrugged it off.

After having breakfast, we went to Diagon Alley to buy my wand and other stuff. We were able to get all I need and I couldn't be happier.

"Ariane, my muggle money and food is running out. Think I should get a job, to earn a living?"

"Oh yeah about that, I was about to tell you that you still have your fortune, the one you have from your parents. Zeus manage to get it and have it moved to another vault. So if you don't mind, finding Tom a job is my concern for now since he doesn't have any. You know what I mean. "

"I don't mind at all, but you think I will be able to withdraw some gold? Goblins might recognize me. " I asked.

"Here's the key, vault 948. One of the high-security vaults aside from the ones you had. Don't worry about being recognized, you won't go to your former vault, and please don't act guilty. You're skilled in Occlumency remember? Now don't get spoiled, you still need to work. " she handed me the key to vault 948.

"I know, you don't need to utter. I would still ask for a job though. " I said.

"Still need anything? "

"No, not for now. Thank you. "

"Well if you want something, feel free to send me an owl. Don't worry this one will find me. What will you name him? "

"Well, I've been thinking about naming him 'Marty'" I smiled.

"That's a good name. I leave you today. " with that she leaves.

I decided to practice with my new wand. I transfigure things and do some practice spells.
