My eyes opened groggily and I saw a very knocked out brother holding my hand. I straightened my back on my headboard, hugging my knees and planting my chin on its top, still leaving my hand in Tim's loose grasp. It has been forever since I've caught sight of my brother asleep and it was an odd feeling to actually like it.

I heard small footstep's thumps getting louder by the second it came closer. I turned my head towards the door to meet eyes with Jack, holding a bowl of what seemed to be chips and a glass of water. He jolted his body a bit when he saw me awake and Tim the opposite. "Thought you'd still be asleep right now. I'll have to get home sooner or later." Jack whispered and smiled, handing me the glass of water to drink.

I slid my hand off Tim's grip. My hand was slightly shaking due to the sudden weight of the glass of water and the cold that radiated through the glass. I took a small sip, letting the cool water slide down my throat and swallowed it before placing it on the space in between my stomache and thighs. "You thought wrong," I whispered back, wrapped my fingers around the glass of water, scared it might pour on the bed and that was going to be yet, another problem. "What happened?"

"I wasn't there when it happened but you pretty much fainted on the kitchen floor. Luckily, Luke was able to catch you before you hit your head," he pointed at my head and I nodded slowly, letting all of his words sink in. "He's pretty much your hero, I must say." He smirked while I pursed my lips at him.

Luke, despite the fact I've been such a bad human to him, saved me.

"I sent Cal and Luke home by the way, if you were wandering." Jack put a hand on my shoulder. I averted my gaze on his hand, causing him to pull it back and pretend that he didn't do anything.

"I wasn't," I answered him bluntly, "and thanks, Jack, for staying. Oh and also thank Luke for me, please?"

He nodded his head and stepped on his heel and left the room. Again, I was left with my sleeping brother, giving me lots of time to think about how much of an asshole I was to Luke. What's worse is that he's acting the total polar opposite towards me which makes me feel more guilty. Here I was again, fuddling my brain with negative thoughts.

Tim's sudden yawning caught my eye and I watched how unbearably hideous he was when he yawned. I laughed, covering my mouth with my hand. One of the insecure habits I had, I suppose. "Good morning to you, too." He greeted before rubbing his eyes and flickered his eyes open and close in repetition.

I immediately took hold of my phone and looked at the time. Sure, it was three o'clock in the morning, no biggie, I thought. "Did Jack leave or what?" He stood up before stretching his arms out.

I nodded. "I think he brought along a bag of chips and one of our bowls." I shrugged.

He laughed and shook his head. "So, how're you feeling?"

"Fantastique." I lied. There was a throbbing pain I felt in my head but I chose not to share my true feelings. I think I've caused enough pain in the arse today.

He arched a brow at me. "Are you sure?"

"Oui." I assured him with a weak smile.

He yawned again, causing me to laugh. I just held back my comments about how ugly he was when he yawned because I was pretty sure he'd end up saying we looked alike and that I was ugly when I yawned, too.

"Go get back to sleep, you need it. It's probably pretty late." He pointed to my bed.

Nodding, I took the glass of water from the middle of my stomach and thighs, placing it on the bedroom table that was nearby. Tim lazily walked out of the room, more or less heading to his own room.
