Christina's POV
"I'm your sister." Those words were the only words that repeated in my mind. Shocked was an understatement to describe what I'm feeling right now. All I know is, my mom has some explaining to do.
"Christina!" a voice shouted, and fingers were snapped in front of my face.
I was broken out of my thoughts. "Huh?"
"Did you hear what I told you?" Lacey asked, nervousness filling her voice.
"Yeah," I nodded, "you told me that you're my sister."
"Yes, you're my sister." she repeated.
"How?" I found myself asking.
"It's a long story." she muttered.
"I have time." I say.
"Okay," she sighed, "well, as you know, Snake is my dad, and your dad is Kent. They were best friends at a moment. Then, your dad got married to out mom, and then they had you. After a year, those two had a huge fight, like a really big fight. Our mom wanted payback on your father, so she...she cheated on him with my dad. But it turned out she got pregnant with me. But after I was born, she left us, to go back with you and Kent, but she never told him about the affair. My dad knew, and he started hating your dad, because he believed Kent didn't deserve her. I started hating you and your mom, because you two had the better life. I was jealous, and angry that I never had a mother figure in my life. So I guess you've been life out of the family secret."
My mouth dropped, and my eyes widened. I just couldn't believe it, and now I realized that I am angry at my mother. No, furious. How could she cheat on my dad? How dare she?! The door opened, and the witch, also known as my mom, stepped in.
She gaped at Lacey when she spotted her. "Christina? What is going on?"
I stood up, and glared at her. "Oh, just spending some quality time with my sister."
Her eyes widened, and she looked worried. "Y-you know?"
"Yes," I say sharply, "all my life I thought I could trust anyone, only to see that I couldn't trust you."
She gave me a sympathetic look, but I didn't give a shit. "I'm sorry-"
I cut her off. "How can you keep something so big from me? And from dad?!"
"Honey, I regret it so much-" this time Lacey cut her off.
"Oh so you regret having me?" Lacey narrowed her eyes, "I never had a mother figure in my life, since you just ran off. I wouldn't be surprised if you wish you never had me."
"Girls! Let me explain!" my mom pleaded.
The two of us crossed our arms and said in unison, "Go on." Wow, we really are sisters.
"Okay, well, your father and I had a big fight," she started, "it was about him going to the army in a year, with his friend, Snake. I didn't like it, not one bit. I hated it, because I thought he wouldn't be here to support Christina, she needed a father figure in her life. But he wanted to go so badly, and he signed the papers without my consult. I got so angry, I left. I thought he didn't love me, and that's why he was leaving. I craved love though, and I wanted revenge on him. So I went to Snake, because I knew he was madly in love with me. And well, one thing led to another, and I got pregnant with Lacey. And after I had her, I went back with Kent, because I felt so bad about everything and still loved him. We made up, and I never told him about anything."
Tears were brimming along my eyes. If my mom think she is still innocent, she is totally wrong. She should feel really guilty for the rest of her life, that was such a bad thing of her to do.
