Christina's POV
Just like yesterday morning, the ringing of my phone woke me up. I sat up in bed, and saw it was an Unknown Number, which must be my dad. He's been calling a lot lately, and I'm so glad, maybe he's coming home soon.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hello Christina." a groggy voice croaked creepily. Okay, that is NOT my dad.
"Who is this?" I asked, a little frightened. No Christina, you cannot show fear to this anonymous person.
"Let's just say my name is Snake." he chuckled darkly. Um, okay, well this is not Harry Potter.
"Where's my dad?" I questioned, not wanting to speak to this person. He creeped me out, maybe he's one of dad's friends in the army unit.
"Let's just say he's a little tied up at the moment, and is unable to talk at the moment." his tone remained the same, dark on cold. I'm onto you bud.
"Well okay can you...?" I was cut off by a screaming in the background.
"Christina don't talk to him!" a voice that sounded like my dad, shouted.
"Shut him up boys!" 'Snake' demanded someone.
"Don't you dare hurt my dad!" I yelled, extremely worried princess.
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it, princess?" he says, thinking he can intimidate me.
That pissed me off, the way he called me princess was so disgusting. "I swear to God, I will fuck you up if you ever so lay a finger on him."
Snake laughed, not seeming intimidating by me as I was of him. "That's cute. But if I were you, I'd be begging me to not even kill this asshole you call your father. It's nice to see you protecting him, but you should be praying."
"What's going on?" I have the urge to fly over there an grab this guy by the neck.
"That remains a secret, honey. Your father just stepped over our turf, thinking he can just stop us. Yet we captured him, outsmarted the bastard. You don't need to know anything." he replied.
"Let. Him. Go." I say through gritted teeth, trying to stay calm. I'm going to lose it anytime soon.
"You can't tell me what to do, you're just a girl." Snake said harshly.
"That's sexist," I spat, "and if I hear that my dad has been hurt, you better watch your back, arse."
"I'd say you better watch yours," he spoke, "it was nice talking to you."
He hung up, and I could feel the tears brimming. No, I will stay strong, for my dad, and will not let Snake scare me. I dial my dad's sergeant, Jim, and wait for him to go through.
"Hello?" that calming voice answered.
"Jim!" my voice started shaking.
"Christina, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
"It's my dad! He's been held captive by this Snake guy!" I cried.
"Dammit," Jim muttered, "we were wondering where he was. How'd you find out?"
"Snake called me, saying my dad invaded his turf, whatever that means." I explain.
"Okay, well can you give me the number of that phone call so I can trace the location?" he asked.
"Sure." I said. I gave him the number, and had my fingers crossed.
"Alright, thank you Christina. We'll see what happens next, and let you know if anything happened. Please be calm, okay? For your dad." he spoke.
