Okay, this is an exclusive chapter that explains a bit more about Aqua, her friends, and her family. You MUST read this chapter to UNDERSTAND this book a little more.

Aqua is a 12 year old girl that has a mom-Cheresa, a dad-John, a sister-Vanessa, and an older brother-Zayn. She has a LOT of friends like Angela, Daina, Etana, Kevin, Katarina, Dustin, Alianna, Kimberly, and a lot more. Her full name is Aquamarine Jane Smith.

As you know, she is a full mermaid. In her mermaid form, Aqua has an ocean blue bra with sea green straps and her tail is Aqua blue that turns to turquoise in the middle that turns to green at the end. Her powers are Earth and Water. She can do many things with her powers, especially with water, but you'll have to keep reading this book to find out what they are.

Mermaids (full) are born the same way as humans, but they are born underwater in a mermaid hospital in stead of on land. A mermaid will grow a tail and get their powers from ages 11-13. They're are many other supernaturals in the world that live in different realms, worlds, and other cool places. They're only three types of mermaids, a turned, a full, and a half mermaid. A turned is person that turns into a mermaid because they go to these magical places at exactly full moon, the whole place turns green and they transform into a mermaid no matter what age. A full is a mermaid that has a mom and a dad that are mermaid. A full always has two powers. A half mermaid is a mermaid that has a mom or dad that is a mermaid or merman. The two only differences between a full and turned is that a full has both there parents as mermaids and a turned doesn't and a full always has two powers and a turned always has one power.

Mermaids and vampires are allies, and the mermaids have the vampires' back when the wolf bloods come to attack. Mermaids might seem graceful, but they are masters at fighting too.
