I walked home with my friends, Etana, Angela, Kevin, and Daina. I could not stop thinking about my.........POWERS! As I remember, I have water and earth. Wait, maybe I can control water like Percy Jackson and go in the water and not get wet! OMG I am just so excited I can't wait to get home! Maybe I have the powers heal all of Earth, just like the queen from the movie ''Epic".
When were at my street, I said good bye to my friends and unlocked the door to my house. "Mom! Mom! I'm home!" My mom came and hugged she told me to sit down on the couch and she took my book bag out of my hand.
"Ok sweetie. You said your tail was green, turquoise, and blue, right? I'll explain more about the mermaid stuff a little later." she said "Yeah that's my tail colors. Also my eyes turned into a silvery blue. Here let me show you." I grabbed a cup of water and spilled it on me. Instantly, my feet faded into a tail that starts at blue which turns to turquoise and the turquoise turns to green. It was beautiful.
"So your signature power is water and your secondary power is Earth, a signature power is your main power and a secondary power is your power that you have but it does not work as well as your signature power. Not all mermaids have a secondary power because your tail colors determine your power and you must have two or more colors to have two powers. If you have a tail that is one color then you only have one power, unless your power is fire because when your power is fire your tail is red, orange, and yellow. The most powers you can have is two." mom explained.
"OMG! I have powers! What do my powers do?"I asked
"Sweetie you can heat, control, and freeze water, you can turn water up and make waves just like a fountain, but those are all normal for a person with water powers, you have many more powers, but they will reveal themselves as you train with your father." my mother explained "Also with your Earth powers you can lift up rocks, heal Earths plants, make plants move, help a plant grow and others! There are four powers a mermaid or merman can have, they are Earth, Water, Fire, and Animals" my mom said
Man I have powers! Mermaids are real. OMG! I read a book, but I never knew they were real!
Okay guys in the next chapter I'll explain a little more about Aqua, her family, friends, basically about her life. 🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉
