Tuesday was almost as bad for Luke never showed up to band that morning. Dylan was worried to say the least. "What if he doesn't like me anymore? Was I too forward yesterday? Does he hate me now? Oh god he hates me. Why did I have to ruin everything?" Dylan ranted to Dailyn after band. "Dylan calm down. He's probably just sick or something." As if by magic Luke walks in at that exact moment. Dylan's face lights up. "Go talk to him." Dailyn says pushing him slightly. Dylan walks over, "Hey" he says hesitantly, earlier worries still crossing his mind. Luke smiles a grand smile, "Well hello." The two locked eyes and it was as if the world stopped. "Where were you? Band is over." Dylan asked. Luke smiled liking how the other noticed his tardiness, "I overslept and just made it here. I figured I should at least come in and work a little. Plus it gives me a chance to see you." Dylan blushed and looked away. The one minute warning bell rings and Dylan sighs, "I'm glad you came in today." Luke's smile gets bigger as if that's even possible, "Me too."
