Travis (Pov)

"Travis! Hurry up! We're about to leave," I heard Dante yell from upstairs.

"I'm coming! Besides where even is the party?," I said making my way to the front door.

"Aphmau somehow convinced Zane to have it at his house. Let's just hope he didn't poison the food," Laurence said getting up from the couch, "Where's Garroth?"

"He left already," Dante answered.

"Let's go already!," I yelled dramatically. With that we made our way down the street. Once we made it to the house you could hear the music. We knocked on the door and we were answered with Aph's face.

"Took you guys long enough. Come on in, we're just waiting on Lucinda before we eat," she beamed.

We walked in and it looked like people were actually having fun which is shocking since not that many people like Zane. We wondered to where ever we sought to go and I ended up in the kitchen. There he stood, Zane. Ever since I was last he I've felt strange around him. I don't know why and it's seriously starting annoy me. Maybe it's the way his cute little face-Nope! Anyways! Zane stood over the turkey, basting it in broth before putting a garnish on top.

"Hey, Zane. What's cooking good looking," I chimed. What the hell did I just say?! Please tell me he didn't hear that.

"Travis? Shouldn't you be with Aph or someone? You know, not in the kitchen," Zane stated as he pulled the scallop potatoes from the oven.

"Eh, everyone else seem distracted. Besides you look lonely," I smirked. Why am I smirking?!

"Well at least you can help me set the food on the table for everyone. Everything's done, and to be honest I'm so done with waiting," he said picking the cake. We set up the table and we actually talked. We have way more in common than I thought we would.

"How are we going to tell them the food's ready," Zane asked.

"FOOD'S DONE!," I yelled on the top of my lungs and nearly everyone ran into the room. Hell, Katelyn ran into Zane accidentally shoving him onto the cupcake display. He got up covered in bits of cake and frosting extremely pissed. Some of them laughed but the rest of us glared at them. Zane stomped upstairs leaving a faint trail of cupcake bits along the way.

"I'll go check on him," I said slipping out of the room. I opened the door to his bedroom and I saw something I thought I'd never see. Zane half naked without his mask. I hid in the hall for about 20 minutes and went in again, this time he was fully dressed.

"Hey Zane, you okay?," I asked as I closed the door behind me.

"Peachy," he mumbled.

"Want to hang out up here for a while?," I asked carefully.

"Sure," he replied running his hands through his long hair (long for a guy). We ended up talking and just hanging out with each other for the rest of the night and I actually really enjoyed it. The strange feeling never leaving but I'm starting to like it.

Two things: Exams and Writer's Block. Both suck and both I have.
