Zane (Pov)

"So, Zane, what do you think we should get Garroth for his birthday next week?," Vylad asked as we walked through the mall.

"Well, let's cover our basis first. He loves the colour blue, he likes Zelda, and he adores cake and chocolate. How about these Zelda shoes and mug, a bar of milk chocolate, and wrap it in blue wrapping paper?," I suggested.

"That's actually a great idea Zane. What type of cake should we get him. Maybe we could get mummy to make one," Vylad replied.

"Perfect, lets grab the stuff before someone else does and you can take it home and wrap it," I smiled slightly.

"Okay"

~Time Skip~

I walked through the dark night. It soothing but at the same time gives me a feeling of  uneasiness. I look up to my house and see my front windows broken.

"Irene damn it!," I groaned as I unlocked the door. Looks like I'm window shopping tomorrow, literally.

I make my way upstairs, entering my room. I'm still on edge, the suffocating feeling of dread thick in the air. A low laugh broke through the air like a hammer on a glass window. I turn slowly to be greeted with a large man staring at me.

"Looks like I found boss's target. Now...," the hairy man chuckled, "Either come peacefully or...," he smirked.

"I... choose... FUCK YOU!!!," I screamed jumping through my window. As soon as my feet hit the ground I ran. I never stopped, never looked back, knowing full well that by the sound of loud footsteps behind me were those belonging to the madman. I went through the streets, over a stream, past the forest, the only thing stopping me was a cliff. I stopped at the edge, looking back to see the man standing a few feet away, smiling like an insane man.

"Looks like there's nowhere else to go," his laughs echoed.

I looked down, barely seeing a small pond with small hopes of me landing in it. I turned around fully, flipped the man off, leaned back and fell.

"May Irene protect my brothers..."

Yes cliffhanger, and sorry this is so late my dad took my laptop away because my room was messy.
