Impact

The basement

I looked up, a strange man stood there looking about as shocked as me.

"I-I didn't think anyone else was...alive..." he said with his eyes glued to me.

"Oh in this giant world a meteor hits one country and every one is instantly dead?" I snapped.

He tapped the tips of his pointer fingers together with a guilty look on his face. I couldn't help but laugh, then I realised I was still laying on a strange guys basement floor looking a bit like a slug with my broken arm. He must've noticed to because he was staring at my arm.

"I'm Simon." He smiled, brushing his dark brown bangs away from his brown eyes.

Simon winced as he helped me up, he collapsed on the floor shortly after. I noticed a blood stain on his back, so I lifted his shirt. A gash ran parallel with his spine, it looked infected to. I concluded he fainted from blood loss and I needed to figure out how to help him.
