You don't know what it feels like to completely just give up. To feel alone and look down at the blood on your shaky hands. I felt hot tears bubble down my face because there was nothing I could do to save him.
I heard stones clatter behind me and three thumps as feet hit the concrete floor. I wasn't listening but some people were trying to talk to me, and that's when it all went black.
