A/N: just watched Louis perform, and I'm literally dying. DYING! But he's so strong and I'm proud of him. Anyways, enjoy.

Everyday after work I'd spend the rest of the day in the hospital room with him. Hoping and praying he'd wake up and remember me, "Today I went to work. Jennifer informed me that my best friend Adeline had gone to prison for killing her husband," I chuckled, "Can life get even worse, honestly."

A part of me knew he could hear me. The only thing he couldn't do was respond. "It's crazy how well you think you know someone. To have them do something completely crazy the next day."

I sighed, and walked over to the very uncomfortable chair I had slept on the past week or so. Sometimes I'd just stare at him— not able to sleep without having nightmares.

Three hours later. I awoke to a loud, groan coming from Louis. Was he really awake? The doctor said he'd be in pain. But how?

"Oh my god, Louis! You're awake," I blinked a few times, trying to wake up completely to process everything.

"Help me!" He cried,  "Where am I? Fuck."

"Right. Now I'm responsible for this," I sighed, and approached him, "You're name is Louis Tomlinson. Your car fell off a cliff, and you lost your memory."

"Is that why I'm in so much pain? And damn, I know what my name is.. do I really look that insane? Who the hell are you?" He rose his eyebrow, continuing to moan do to being in pain, "This can't be happening."

"I'm your," I bit my lips, and forced a smile, "I'm your girlfriend Ivory. We live together, you're a singer from One Direction. And you have a beautiful son named Freddie."

"Holly shit," He tried getting out of his bed but the bandages and broken bones where preventing that from happening, "Does that mean we had a baby together?"

"Actually, no. He's your ex girlfriends baby. You dated for a couple of months, and then I came along," I explained, and he shook his head in disbelief.

"God, I'm so stupid. When will I heel?"

Suddenly an amazing idea popped into my mind. Since his memory was gone, this was my chance to start a brand new life for him. Forgetting all of the terrible things that had happened to him. And just focus on me and his singing career.

"Let me go ask the doctor when you'll heel," I smiled, "I promise. You'll be better eventually, for now. Let's just start a new life."

It was disappointing the way he looked at me. It was as if I was a complete stranger to him— in his eyes I was. But I used to be the love of his life. And I had to remind him of at least that.

"Ivy! Good god, I'm so glad to see you," I was startled when Lottie came racing down the hallway, "Where's Louis! Is he okay?"

"Lottie.. did no one tell you what happened?" I blocked her from entering the room.

"Well, yeah. He lost his memory. But is he doing alright?"

"Listen. I don't want him to remember your mom's passing. I can't bare seeing him depressed again, so let's just say she left you guys when you where little kids," I faked another smile, "It's for the best."

"Wait, you want me to lie? Sorry Ivory. I can't do that to my brother. What do you thinks going to happen when he regains his memory?"

"Just go for it; Please Lottie! He means so much to me, you don't want him to attempt suicide again do you?" I basically pleaded. And it took her a second to think.
