"Ivory, your next client will be here in fifteen minutes," A brunette named Veronica said nicely. Here I was, working for my own sake and Louis' sake. I had a real job, not just babysitting children over five. Usually, my parents or Louis bought everything I owned. Now I felt too awkward to ask for anything.
My station was adorable, the mirror had "Ivory James" written on it, and consisted of numerous makeup and hair products. Let's just say, I was enjoying my new job. Even though I've only been at it for an hour. What happens when the clients don't like what I've done to them? I'll get fired won't I?
"Hey Ivy," I heard a British voice say from behind me. But I was too busy organizing one of my bins, "Iv-"
"Holly shit Harry, you scared me," I jolted backwards realizing how close he was to me. The British boy was wearing a cute red beanie, and a black leather jacket. One thing I knew for sure was Harry Styles had an amazing style.
"Sorry," He giggled, "So, what are you doing. I've been driving around, and found some really nice shoe shop."
"How did you know I'd be here?"
"Uh.. I just knew; why don't you ever answer your phone?" He changed the subject quickly, "I've called you six times, and texted you seven times. Girl, you're on your phone so much."
"Okay, I get it. Right now I'm at work, and I don't have time to go shoe shopping with you," You're probably wondering why Harry and I get along to great. We're actually best friends, "We can go after work."
"Okay. I need to ask you a little favor," He intwined his fingers nervously, "You know your manager Dalia. She's really cute, and I want to ask her out."
"Harry I'm pretty sure she's older than yo-"
"Don't bother saying it. I know. I followed her on twitter, and I'm sure she's currently fan-girling over me, so it shouldn't be too hard to take her out on a date," As usual, he thought he could date any girl he wanted. Let's see about that.
"I'll go ask her right now," I gave him an evil smirk and pushed him down on the salon chair, as he smiled back at me. I walked over to the front desk where Dalia stood, her dark hair against her shoulder. On the contrary she looked perfect for Harry. Dark hair, good style, and a pretty smile just as he's always wanted.
"What can I help you with Ivory?" She questioned, leaning against her hand on the table.
"Remember Harry Styles? My idiotic best friend who popped in here a couple of days ago," I grinned, watching her facial expression change.
"Oh yeah, he just walked in."
"Right. Anyways, he thinks you're really cute and wants to take you out on a date," Secretly I was crossing my fingers behind my back, not dropping my grin once.
"Oh Ivory," She shook her head in disbelief, "Harry Styles isn't my type. Celebrity's are so bitchy, it's almost unreal."
"What? You had your eyes all over him the other day. What the hell happened?" God, he's probably listening to our conversation.
"It's not often that a celebrity walks into a building you own. It's not often that a celebrity comes to visit this small town at all," She batted her eyelashes casually, showing no emotion what so ever.
"Well, Louis Tomlinson lives here with me."
"Oh... fun."
"Will you just give him a chance. He's a really nice guy, I would know. He's been one of my best friends for years," I exclaimed, remembering all of the times he's been there for me.
