Living with the Bad Boy

Chapter 3

We were now sitting on my bed talking about random stuff.

"Soooo, why did you leave school early?" Taylor asked. I knew the question was coming but I hated talking about my relationship with Courtney.

"Courtney" I said and they understood what I meant.

"What did she do this time?" Selena asked with concern in her eyes. "Wait. Is she the reason you face is red and scratched?"

"Ye--"

"Oh god. I'm gonna kill her" Selena interrupted.

"She basically told me to stay away from Alec and to not even breath near him." I said " they aren't even dating and she's acting like a possessive girlfriend."

"She is so pathetic. " Taylor says.

"Hey can we talk about something else?" I said not wanting to talk about Courtney anymore.

"Yeah" they both said understanding why I didn't want to talk about her anymore.

We spent the rest of the night talking about stupid crap and watching sappy movies while bawling our eyes out. We let Selena pick out the movies and she is big into the romance stuff. She spends her free time reading cheesy romance novels and movies.

I decided that when the movie ended I would tell Selena about the look Tyler was giving her. A few minutes later the movie ended.

"Hey Selena" I said kind of nervous but also kind of excited to tell her about the look and what I thought.

"Yeah Mya?" She responded.

"I think you might have an admirer." I said.

"Who?"

"Jared"

"You're messing with me, right?" She said dumbfounded.

"Well I don't know but when I said your name I saw a look in his eyes but he covered it up quickly. Then, when you first got here, you were talking to me and he was staring at you with a look in his eyes that just looked like pure lust."

Selena just stared at me.

"The love wizard finally has a lover and she has nothing to say. I'm honestly surprised." Taylor said looking amused.

"What if he does like me? Isn't he supposed to be a player and a bad boy? Why would he ever like me?" She said acting nervous.

"Well I guess you'll have to figure that out" I said happily.

By then it was about 1 in the morning. We decided we should go to bed so we laid out sleeping bags on the floor and instantly fell asleep.

We woke up at about 10 in the morning. Selena woke up then me then Taylor. We got up and went downstairs to make breakfast. As we were walking down the stairs, it smelt of bacon and pancakes. Was someone making breakfast?

When we got downstairs Alec had made over twenty pancakes and had six plates on the table. Jared and Tyler came down the stairs shortly after we did. Alec was actually being... dare I say it... nice.

"Uh... hey" I said

"Hey. I made breakfast. Sit down." Alec said.

I sat down and Selena sat next to me and Tyler sat next to her.
We all just looked at Tyler.

"Oh." He said. " right" he moved to the other side of the table next to Jared and Alec. I looked at Selena and winked but she only glares at me.

He totally liked her.

We ate the pancakes and they were heavenly.

Just like Alec's face.

WOAH. Where did that come from. He's an ass. I don't like him. But...It's almost as if I was only trying to convince myself.

"Hey it's a long weekend so my and the guys are going to my Aunts cabin. Since we have five days off. We will be back Tuesday night." Alec said.

Then, Tyler whispered something in Alec's ear.

"No way dude." Alec said but Tyler gave him a look that convinced him of whatever they were talking about.

"Fine" Alec said. "Would you guys like to come?"

"Yeah" Selena and Taylor said. Then they both looked at me knowing that I was the one they would have to convince. They have me the 'please please please please please' look and I finally gave in.

" oh what the hell. Why not?" I said and Taylor and Selena squealed.

"When are we leaving?"

"An hour"

"Alright let's get packing girls." Selena said. " lets meet back here in 50 minutes. "

I went up to my room and packed as many things as I could fit in my bag but I forgot to pack a bathing suit when I came to Alec's and my house locked. I quickly texted Taylor to pack an extra one for me and I finished packing.

I had 10 minutes before Taylor and Selena would be back so I went to grab my bags and head downstairs. But Jared came in my room and shit the door.

"Jared what r u doing?" I asked kind of freaking out.

"I need to talk to you." He said.

"Okay..." I said wondering what on earth could he possibly want to talk to me about. He stepped closer to me

But instead of talking he kissed me. I just stood there shocked. He then pulled away

"I like you, Mya" he said and I didn't know what to say.

I was about to say something when Alec walked in.

"What's going on here?" He asked sounding a little angry. What is going on? I'm so confused.

"Nothing" Jared said.

"Whatever. " Alec said. "You're friends are here Mya"

I walked past both of them still confused and grabbed my bags and walked downstairs. Jared just told me he liked me and Alec seemed... jealous.

No. he couldn't be. He would never like me. He was probably just in a bad mood.
