A/N: Sorry, guys, I got sick. Again. I don't know what's gone around. But this year has been the most I have ever gotten sick. I am going to finished the books I am working on and take a long break.

Your POV:

Is it normal to feel nervous before something like this?

I mean, I am sweating, my hands are clammy, and I keep biting my lip and twisting my hair in my hands.

"Hey, you'll be okay."

"Chip? What are you doing here?"

"I'm your competition, remember?"

"Oh, right."

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"Chip, I don't want to win anymore. I mean is this fame really worth it anymore?"

"What are you even saying? You deserve this more than anyone else."

"Do I even really? I mean, I am a good chef, but am I even thinking about myself right now?"

"What are you even saying?

"I feel like I'm not remembering something. Something important."

Someone knocks.

"Come in." I sigh.

"Uh, Mrs. De Vil, someone is here to see you. Can I send him in?"

"Him? Sure."

She nods and he steps in.

"Carlos!" I yell, jumping up in excitement and over to him.

"Hey!"

"What are you doing here!?"

"I was talking with Ben and he invited me here with tickets and then he had that nice young lady bring me here to see you."

I smile and then I see flowers. (f/f) {a/n: favorite flowers} to be exact.

I sees him hand them to me.

I look at Chip, who shrugs .

That's right..

"Carlos, this is Chip. Chip, this is my husband Carlos." I introduce them to each other.

They shake hands.

"How are you," Carlos asks.

"I'm good. It's great to finally meet you."

"You as well."

Chip takes his leave leaving me with Carlos.

We hug and I listen to his heartbeat as it quickens.

"I missed you."

"I missed you more, (f/n). More than you know."

A knock sounds on the door a few minutes later.

"Come in."

I tell whoever it is as I separate from Carlos.

Evie enters.
