Lucy's POV:

Jaden drove a dark purple Lamborghini which looked almost black at night. When we got in the car he looked at me. "You look really different, I didn't expect to see you wearing black. Well, not like it's bad, its hot, but you know, it doesn't seem like you," he said in an almost completely different tone. "W-what happened to your stupid accent?!" I exclaimed, sounding a bit rude on accident. "I'm sorry, I mean, your tone sounds really different, I thought you had a more, proper, accent," I tried again. He laughed and started driving. "That's all for show, I couldn't very well take you out if your parents thought I was just some black kid now, could I?" he said, "Now, where do you wanna go?" I smiled. I instantly liked Jaden more, seeing how down to earth he was I felt like I could relate to him alot more. "Anywhere's fine," I said, "Why don't you show me the things you like to do?" "Are you sure?"he asked and I nodded. "Alright, well there's this cool party I think you might like, let's go if its okay with you," he said. "I've never been to a party, only invited to them. I think I'd like to go, to see what its about," I replied, excited to go to my first normal teenage party.

Jack's POV:

I fell asleep shortly after reading, and awoken to the loud car horn beeping and some kids hollering. "Hey dude come out its party time, WHOOO!!!" I heard Darren half drunk already scream from my window, along with the other guys in their cars beeping their horns. I groaned. "No, I don't wanna go to your stupid party," I yelled out my window. "Hey, don't be a queer, come out," Darren yelled back, and the other guys booed at me and yelled at me to come out too. I shook my head but Darren said,"We won't leave til you come out," so I was forced to go anyway.

Lucy's POV:

Jaden and I picked up some McDonald's on the way there, because he said the snacks always run out fast. I've never had fast food before because my parents say "commoner's" food only rot your insides. I could see what they were talking about because the burger seemed a bit greasy, but it was delicious and McDonald's has the best fries in the world. I smiled as we pulled up there. There were cars parked up and down the block. He parked his car and took off his shirt to reveal a black shirt underneath. Then he took off his suit pants and had jeans on underneath. "Do you always dress like this?" I asked. "No, not unless I know I'm going somewhere. I was going to hit up this party after our date but we can go now," he said. He got out and opened the door for me. Then he looked at my outfit. "I think it would be best if you stayed close to me," he said, "boys are dogs when they get drunk and I wouldn't want you getting hurt." I nodded and held on tightly to his arm as we went towards the door.

Jack's POV:

When we got to the party, Darren wouldn't leave my side. Whenever I wanted to sit down he'd tell me to "stop being a queer" and force me to take a shot or two. Not even a full 30 minutes later I was tipsy. Darren stuffed a beer in my hand and made me follow him.

We went over to the couch where these hot girls were sitting. One of them was a pretty brunette, or she would have been if she wasn't wearing all that make-up. She had a skin-tight way-too-short metallic pink dress on. The other two girls were blondes. One was wearing the same dress in metallic light blue. The other was wearing a strapless  purple dress similar to the others but not metallic. Darren pushed me on the couch and sat with me in between the girls. I sat in between the brunette and blonde in the purple dress and he sat in between the two blondes. He wore a devious smile. "Hello ladies," he started, "listen my friend here has been through quite a breaker, he can't get the girl he wants to like him." I glared at him, "Dude, what the hell!" He ignored me and carried on, "Could you please show him a good time, just for one night?" The girls giggled and all crowded around me. "W-woah woah, there's no need for this, I'm fine, he was just playing around," I tried to explain, but it was too late. One of the girls took the drink out my hand, while the other kissed my neck. The other girl began to unbutton my shirt, people began to cheer. I struggled to get away, but the girls had me pinned and there was no way I was getting out of that crowd now.

Lucy's POV:

Jaden introduced me to his friends, Wanya and Michael. They were nice looking guys and we're very kind towards me. Michael offered me a beer but I politely refused. I didn't know much about normal teenagers but I knew that it wasn't okay to drink at my age, knowing how many cocktail parties I've been to. Wanya brought me a can of Sprite instead. It was the same drink I got with my McDonald's meal. Cold and full of carbon dioxide. Jaden wanted to dance with me but we could faintly hear the music over the sound of a crowd cheering. I followed the sound but Jaden grabbed my hand. "It's probably just some drinking game, come on, lets turn the music up," he said. I've never seen a drinking game however so I wanted to go look anyway. I scooted through the crowd, excusing myself as I passed through to the front. I expected to see people drinking but instead there was the boy from school, Jack. He was surrounded by girls with his shirt unbuttoned wide open.

Jack's POV:

By that time I was drunk. I'm sure those girls slipped a few pills into me and everything was blurry at that moment. I couldn't move or speak at that point I had to just lay there and accept my fate. I wish I had stayed home, I thought. Through my high in the crowds however, something caught my eye. That same thing that catches my attention all the time: Lucy. But, it couldn't have been Lucy. The girl was wearing all black and I was high on drugs. Oh no, shes wearing the diamond necklace... it's her.

I vomited all over myself, people gasped and screamed. I think I got a little on the girls because they ran away screaming. I struggled to get up but only managed to fall on the floor. I looked up at Lucy with teary eyes and struggled the words "I'm sorry" before passing out.

Lucy's POV:

Do you know that feeling when you thought you knew someone, but then you find out they're not the person you thought they were and you just don't know how to feel? This was one of those moments. I thought Jack was a nicer guy than this, buy I see he wasn't. He's just a player like most other guys. I shook my head and turned away to go find Jaden but then, he threw up. Jack threw up everywhere: on the girls, on himself, on the floor, on the table. His eyes were all teary and he looked sick, the poor thing. He tried to get up but fell over in his own vomet. Everyone ran away but I stayed by, just not too close. He looked up at me and mumbled some gibberish then passed out in his throw up. I called 911 immediately.

"Jaden grabbed me," there you are, he said, almost out of breath, I thought you ran home with everyone else, I was worried. He noticed the despair and worry in my face. "What's the matter, love? Is that your friend?" he said in his old British voice again. I nodded and told him I was waiting for an ambulance. His expression went from worry to fear. "Well, we can't stay here. What would your parents do knowing I brought their precious daughter to a party with alcohol and drugs? I'd never see you again, you can't be my date to my party, and both out families' names would be tarnished," he exclaimed, going back to his regular voice. I sighed. He was right, but I cared more about my family's name than seeing him. I looked down at Jack. He looked so helpless and weak. I just had to stay with him.

Just then, a boy from my school, I believe his name was Darren, walked by. "Dude, what happened to him?!"he laughed," I leave the guy alone for 5 minutes, and he dies on me. We're the shorties that good?" I glared at him. "What a terrible thing to say, " I said. He looked at me,"Sup Luc (pronounced like loose)," he started, "I know you got a real handle on my man here so I got him some chicks to help him forget about you, but you just keep coming around, don't ya?" He looked at me with a smirk. I looked at him with a slightly irritated face and said, "A good friend would stay with their friend and wouldn't put them in danger. A good friend would support their friends feelings and not be ignorant. You're not a good friend." Before I said that last sentence I looked at Jaden to make sure he got the point and he nodded to confirm my decision. Darren chuckled. "A good friend does what's best for his friend and doesn't let him get hung up on little whores like you, who act all innocent in school but flaunt around her boyfriend all weekend," he said. I gasped. Jaden cut in. "Now, first of all, although I'd love to be her boyfriend, I'm not. Second of all, Lucy is the most respectable, kind, smart, mature, innocent girl ever and you're not going to disrespect her like that.,"he said, looking down at Darren. Jaden was very tall. Daren smirked, "I bet you won't stop me." The alcohol was clear in his voice.

Dark Heart : I had to cut this chapter short because it was getting long and I have things to do but I'll continue the story whenever I get the chance. Bye!!
