New school,new environment

Akira's POV

As soon as the bell rang for recess,Ayame was already outside of my classroom. Too bad,we're not in the same section. Ayame Hamasaki was also my friend and classmate when I entered swimming last summer. "Hey,Ayame." I greeted. "Hey. Let's go get some snacks. I'm really hungry." she said. "Yeah,let's go." I said as we walked to the canteen.

Timeskip

We ate our snacks at a table in the canteen. The canteen was filled with noisy students who were buying their food and chatting with their friends. "The canteen's big and noisy,right?" I said as I scooped my ice cream. "Yeah,it sure is." she said as she munched on her sandwich. "I think we should go now before the bell rings." I said as me and Ayame took the last bites out of our snacks and we quickly rushed to our classrooms. "See ya later,Akira!!" waved Ayame. "See ya 'round,Ayame!!!" I waved back. As I entered our classroom,I grabbed my favorite manga from my bag and started reading it while sitting on my seat. Then,I heard two of my new classmates chatting loudly with each other. One had long dark blue hair with black ends and she had dark blue eyes while the other had long red hair with two clips at the bangs and she had purple eyes. She was a bit shorter than the dark blue haired girl. Their voices were a bit high pitched but it's disturbing me a bit 'cuz I'm reading my manga. Soon,my attention drifted to their conversation as I listened to them closely. I find their conversation a bit hilarious because I think the red haired girl was blackmailing or threatening the other girl  I think? I stifled a soft giggle while eavesdropping their conversation but the bell suddenly rang for the next subject which is Science. Oh boy,I think we have to introduce ourselves again because we will meet our science teacher.

Timeskip

I sighed in relief as the final bell rang for dismissal. I grabbed my bag and went out of my classroom. Before walking to the school gate,I put my headphones on and I played my favorite song Monster by Starset. Then,while on my way to the school gate which is a bit far from my classroom,memories started to flashaback in my mind.

Flashback(Akira's previous school)

I went to the canteen all by myself because I didn't really have lots of friends at that time. As I walked to the canteen's counter,I saw my most hated enemy buying some snacks and there were a lot of people at my left side so I was near to my enemy. I can now feel my eyes turning into slitted ones because my vision became really clear than my regular vision. But I just kept my cool because she didn't do anything. This girl I really hate is Chinami Matsushima. She had sky blue eyes and long dark purple hair and she uses storm magic. She started hating me when we were in gr.3 and I don't really know why she hates me. But she keeps bullying me and she really ticks me off. When we were at the counter,she kicked my leg and started pushing me. And guess what I did? I burned her arm so bad with my poison magic (You guys already know what magic Akira uses) that she screamed. I smirked evilly as she whimpered while holding her arm that already had a bad burn. "You will pay for this,Makoto!!" she growled. I was just getting my snack and then I turned to face her. "Threaten me all you want,Chinami. It's not my fault you got what you deserved." I smirked sadistically as I walked away like nothing happened. She launched a small lightning bolt at me but I dodged it like it was nothing. I felt in victory as I ate my snack. Ever since then,that burn had always been there on her arm
End of flashback

As I went out of the school gate the road was really busy.  "Hmm..maybe I should forget those moments I had at my previous school. They could drag me down if I'm still living in the past. I should focus on the present right now." I thought as I carefully crossed the road and walked to my apartment. The first day of school is already done!!
