Just another usual day

Akira POV

For the whole period,I waited for dismissal time while enduring academic torture and Yuuka's stupid dirty puns that made my eye twitch. Hours later,it was already dismissal so I quickly bolted out of the "hellish" classroom.

Then,I saw Chi just waiting for us outside the classroom so I approached her. "Hey,Chi." I greeted. "Oh hey,Kira." she said in a hushed but cute voice. Chi Nanami is our new friend here in school and she's a werewolf. She wears a large cream colored sweater,a scarf,jeans,and furry leg warmers that has boots under it and she has short poofy hair with her bangs covering her eyes. She never really goes to classes though and no one notices.

Did I mention that I already moved to the aSASSYns headquarters one month ago? No? Well,now you know and it feels nice for me because I already have my freedom. My room is just next to Anna's but the annoying thing is that every morning,Yuuka screeches so freaking loud throughout the hallway of our rooms to make us wake up with our ears almost bleeding so that's why I always put my trusty headphone like earplugs before going to sleep.

Anyway,as I was about to drag her to get our other friends,she told me something. "Hey,Kira. Are you a wolf? Cuz your scent's kinda obvious." Chi's voice sounded a bit serious as I stopped in my tracks. Oh crap,I think the spell's starting to wear off but then I recovered from my shock. Because,I just remembered I cast a spell on myself to hide my direwolf scent, last week and it's starting to wear off right now.

"Oh well,the wolf's out of the bag." I gave a sheepish grin and then I snickered a bit because of the pun I made which just made Chi laugh a bit. "By the way,your scent isn't like any other wolves. It's really different." "Well,that's because I'm not an ordinary wolf. I'm a direwolf." I said. "What's that?" Chi tilted her head a bit. "Direwolves are the other species of wolves that have more abilities and powers than werewolves." I explained. "Oh,right." after that we continued walking to Akane's classroom to fetch her.

"As usual,huh?" I raised an eyebrow in seeing Akane still doodling on her sketchpad even though it's already dismissal time. "Yeah." she just muttered while not really paying attention to us. "C'mon,Akane. We gotta go, we still have to fetch Anna and Seniele from their classroom." I said while crossing my arms. "Yeah,and we still have a lot of targets to eliminate,you know." Chi said while fidgeting with her scarf.

"But I still wanna finish this first." Akane pouted like a child. "You can finish that later." I said with my eyes narrowing. "Fine." she finally closed her sketchpad and went with me and Chi to fetch our other two friends.

"Yuuka can't join us today because she said she's practicing with her music club." I said while the both of them just nodded

"Hey,guys." I leaned against doorpost of their classroom while Seniele and Anna are almost done putting their stuff in the lockers. "So what's our target for today?" Akane asked as we all went out of their classroom with them. Seniele showed us a message in her phone that said,

"Meet us at the abandoned park which is the one near your headquarters."

"How'd they know where our headquarters is located?" Akane asked.

"Maybe my father told them." Seniele's face darkened.

"Anyway,why do I smell another wolf here? But the scent isn't like any other wolves." Seniele suspiciously looked around.

"That's because she is actually a wolf." Chi pointed at me with a small smirk while I flinched a bit.

Everybody's eyes were on me and I heard Seniele gasp before shaking me.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT YOU WERE ACTUALLY A WOLF???" Seniele was ranting like a little child at me and I didn't hear the rest of the words she said to me because she was shaking me until I managed to grab her shoulders tightly, "CALM DOWN! I DON'T NEED SOMEONE SHAKING ME SO HARD BEFORE I COULD EXPLAIN!" I screamed at her with slitted eyes so Seniele let me go.
