Neko Akira

It was an ordinary day at the university. It was already noon and class was dismissed. Akane,Akira and Anna were strolling at the school campus while talking about some events that happened today. Then,Saku approached them while holding a bottle with a strange looking liquid.

"Hey,guys!! Check this out!!" she said while the three just gave her annoyed looks. "What now,Saku?" Akira said in an annoyed tone. "Seriously,why does she sometimes still hang out with us even though we already told her we don't like her?" the trio thought. "This potion's really cool!! It can make you really smart,so smart that you won't have to study!!" she said with such enthusiasm while not noticing our annoyed looks.

"Saku,did you even bother to test it or was it even tested if the effects are true?" Akane asked with a skeptical look. "Oh,uh...well..." she laughed nervously while scratching her cheek. They all just stayed silent while giving her really skeptical looks. "But the effects are actually said on the label." she reasoned. "I still don't believe you. How could you believe it that easily you don't even know if it actually works?" Akira said with a really serious look from her piercing red eyes. Saku didn't say anything as she looked discouraged. "Fine,then! I just wanted to show you guys something!!" she exclaimed as she started to run past  Akira but she tripped and she spilled the contents of the bottle on Akira's clothes.

"What the-" A light enveloped Akira. "Oh,no!! What's happening with Akira?!!!!" Anna pointed at the light enveloping Akira. "WHAT'S HAPPENING??" Akira exclaimed. Then,the spot where Akira was supposed to be standing was replaced with a small black cat with red eyes. "OMG!! AKI-CHAN TURNED INTO A CAT!!" exclaimed Akane. The cat had black fur with red paws and also some streaks of red fur on its back,tail and ears. "Meow?" the cat tilted its head.

Akira's POV in cat form

What?!! I got turned into a cat??!! This explains why my arms are really furry and my vision is a bit blurry and I'm colorblind cuz I just got turned into a cat.

That freakin' Saku will really pay when I get back to my original form but the problem is how do I get back to normal??

"Oh my goodness,she's so cute!!!" Akane and Anna rushed to the small cat but she got scared and hid in a nearby bush. So they tried to lure it out of the bush.

(Few moments later after luring neko Akira out of the bush)

Akane managed to get the little cat out of the bush because she can also be great with cats so she has neko Akira on her hands.

"Aww,she's really cute when she's in her cat form." Anna said while petting neko Akira's head. "But how will she turn back to normal?" she asked with a worried look. "I don't know but I think I could take care of her while she's like this." she said. "How long would this last?" she wondered. "Wait..I think that bottle that Saku was holding earlier has info.." Akane pointed at the potion bottle that was lying on the ground. "I'll go get it." Anna took the bottle and checked the label.

"Hmm...let's see..it says ''If the effects of this potion are not what it says according to the instructions then this potion is expired. The spell will last for one week.'." she read the label. "Oh no,it lasts for one week. How will Aki-chan catch up with our schoolwork?" she said,worried.

"Oh,I think this is the same thing featured in news today about potions. It warned of the strange effects of some potions when they expire. How could I forget??" Akane pouted. "Now,I think about it..I saw it on TV this morning too. I forgot too,I'm such an idiot." she frowned. "So are you okay that you'll be taking care of her for one week?" she asked. "Yeah!" she grinned.

Anna's phone vibrated so she checked to see who was messaging her. "Oh,I better get going. Good luck taking care of neko Akira over there and see ya tomorrow!!" she said as she took her bag and patted neko Akira's head. "Bye!" Akane waved  as Anna waved and went out of the school gate.

Neko Akira's POV

Akane,you butt...stop petting me..you're gonna make me fall asleep..stop it now...for the love of pizza..stahhppp. *yawns* I'm gonna..fall asleep...stop it...now.... *falls asleep*

When Akane turned to look at neko Akira,the small cat already fell asleep on her hands. She curiously poked one of neko Akira's ears and it twitched. "I better get going and I'll have to take her home too." she thought as she took her bag while holding the sleeping cat on her hands. As she went to the school gate,she saw Mevrina Demitri. Mevrina Demitri was also one of their friends from an another section.

"Hey,Mevrina." "Oh hey,Akane-chan." Mevrina smiled. "Who's that cat? It's so cute." she asked as she petted the sleeping neko's head. "You wouldn't believe who this is.." Akane smirked. "Who is it?" asked Mevrina.

"This cat is actually Akira. She just got turned into this by Saku cuz she was holding an expired potion but she didn't know it was expired and then she tripped causing her to spill the potion to Akira so that's why she'll be like this for one week." she explained.
"So who'll be taking care of her when she's still like this?" asked Mevrina who was petting the sleeping cat. "It's me. I just decided to because I don't really have pets at home and I'm also gonna ask her mom's permission." she said. "Can I take care of her too?" Mevrina asked,pleadingly. "I don't know,Mevrina. She's sometimes really mean and she's really hard to catch when she escapes." said Akane while glancing at the cat. "Hey,I can also be great with cats,y'know. So please?" she said,getting eager to take the cat.

"No." Akane said,bluntly. "Why?" "I said,I'm gonna be the one taking care of her for one week and the decision's final." the weapon magic user distanced the sleeping cat on her hands away from Mevrina. "Oh really?" the cyan haired girl raised one eyebrow as she tried to snatch the cat from Akane's hands.

"Nuh-uh." Akane said with a stern face then an idea popped into her head. "Hey,how about we make a deal?" she suggested. "Then what is it?" "How about we take turns of taking care of Aki-chan for one week? Since today is the first day I'll be the one taking care of her and then it will your turn tomorrow." she said. "Sounds like a plan to me." Mevrina grinned like a cheshire cat. "Well,I think we should go now." she said while checking her watch then a motor cab stopped in front of them since they were now outside of the school gate and then they got in and went home.
