Alphonse smiled as he watched his brother and childhood friend dance together. Winry was tripping over Edward's feet as they laughed at each other. "I'm a mechanic, not a dancer" Winry yelled at her new husband. Al's attention turned to the bar, where the elder dark haired man, was sitting drinking with Maes Hughes. "Alphonse!!! Will you dance with me?" Elica yelled grabbing his hand. He let out a small chuckle before he was pulled to the dance floor. He noticed Edward had disappeared. 'I wonder where he went' Alphonse thought to himself, but was soon distracted by Elica dragging him across the dance floor.

Edward sighed as he sat under a tree outside of the reception hall. Turning his attention to the stars in the sky, he allowed a sad smile to cross his face, before taking notice of the gleaming ring upon his finger. The door of the reception hall slammed shut. "What are you doing out here?" slurred the elder dark hair man. "Roy, you're drunk" Edward said, keeping his attention on his ring. "Only a little" Roy laughed, plopping himself next to the young newly wed. "Roy?" Edward called his name, like he wasn't sure if his voice would betray what he wanted to ask. Roy made direct eye contact with him, waiting for the rest of the words to come out, but as the silence continued, it felt as if they would never appear. "I didn't want to let you go" He whispered, "I feel like a part of my soul has loved you since the beginning of everything." Edward searched the stars, as if he was looking for the answers to every question he's ever asked. "but I won't let you consume me." He breathed out, finally finishing the thought he had. "Are you happy with the lie you're living?" Roy questioned angrily.

Edward scoffed before pushing himself off the ground, turning his back to his old lover. "I think you need to drink some coffee Colonel" "How formal of you, Full Metal." Roy responded with a hiccup. "Are you drinking to forget?" Roy grabbed Edwards hand before pulling him down on top of himself. Edward landed on top of Roy, with his hands on each side of his head, and his knee in between the dark eyed mans legs. "You're being reckless" Edward smiled slightly as the words left his lips. Roy pushed himself up onto his elbows, leaning his head towards Edwards, his lips ghosted over the young blondes but they never touched. "I can't help but want to stay here with you, but my heart no longer belongs to you" Edwards warm breath as he spoke, made Roy want him so much more. "Your heart will always belong to me." Roy spoke softly

"Edward! Where did you run off too?" The voice rang into the men's ears as they scrambled to get away from one another. Edward waved to his younger brother, who looked so much like their late mother. "I'm over here Al" Edward sang loudly, scratching his neck awkwardly. Alphonse ran up to them. "Everyone's getting ready to leave and Winry sent me to look for you, your train for Resenbol is leaving first thing in the morning!" Al replied, looking between the two men in front of him. Something was going on but he wasn't sure what. Roy stood up before walking away from the two, waving at them as he walked away. "Full Metal, I expect to see you back here in a week. There's a job for you." Edward groaned before following Al back into the hall.
