  I slashed at the arm holding me, but it did go good. Something inside me stirred. I don't know what, but I felt it. I jerked off my eye patch and stared directly at the machine. I finally found the beast inside it.

"Release me now or else I'll be forced to kill you," I warned.

  He jumped into the air and crushed my body tighter as he cackled.

"You, a tiny and puny little girl, kill me?!" I shrieked hysterically.

  My left, red eye pulsated and I felt a sharp pain in my bottom lip. This has never happened to me before. What's going on?

"What?! Y-You're not h-human?!" The beast asked.

  I ripped from its grip and threw myself through the cockpit. I drove my sword into the beasts chest and watched as he started choking up blood. The smell drives me crazy. My brain is all over the place. My eyes narrowed and the pain in my bottom lip grew.

"V-Vampire..." The beast coughed before his head fell over with his eyes wide open in fear.

  I rushed to pull out my sword and looked into the blade. I saw a set of finely pointed fangs, and my red eye shining brightly.

  He's right. I'm a vampire. But how? I've never been this way before... I'm a monster...

  I jumped out of the suit and down to the ground. The three were there, looking at me in shock. Another arm came slamming down, throwing us off our balance.

"Piss off already!" I roared and lunged at the suit.

"Damn! Vampire!" The beast shouted and attempted to run.

  I ripped through the suit and made my way to the beast. Once I found him, I sunk my fangs into his neck and drank. I drank his blood as if it were my source of life. Which, I guess it kind of is.

  It's so bitter. So impure. Like an old lemon that was grown improperly.

  But I kept drinking. Until my hunger was satisfied, then I gorged on the blood until there was no more. I pulled out my fangs and stepped back.

  I looked at myself through my blade in pure horror. What have I done? I just killed a beast and drained him of his blood.

  I jumped out of the suit with my sword and ran. I ran past the three people, and to wherever my feet carried me. I didn't run far though. My feet started hurting, and my vision started blurring.

  I can never go home now. I can never see Orga or Mikazuki again. I'll never have kids or a family because of this. Or else I'll create monsters.

"Excuse me, but are you ok?"

"Don't. I might hurt you too," I whimpered.

"Hey... What do you mean?" He asked.

  I turned and showed him the blood dripping from my mouth. I looked at him, half expecting fear. Instead, his eyes were soft, as if he believed I wouldn't hurt him.

"Y-You aren't-"

"Not at all. You saved us and yourself. If you wanted to hurt us, you wouldn't have ran," he and grabbed the end of his dirtied up cape-like clothing.

  He dampened it with his tongue and brought it to my face. "Let me help you here. The name's Simon by the way. You are?"

"Hanna Itsuka," I answered. "Nice to meet you Simon."

"Hey kid. What happened to you?"

"She's fine, bro." Simon said.

"Bro?" I asked. "So you two are brothers?"

"I'm Kamina. Simon and I aren't blood brothers. More like, I took him in under my wing," the tall blue haired boy answered.

"Just like with Reagan..." I whispered.

"Who's Reagan?" The girl asked.

"Oh! He's one of the many guys I mouthed off to when I had to leave my big brother," I answered.

"You're completely the opposite of Simon," Kamina said.

"Bro stop. Nobody is going to be the exact same as someone just because they look the same age," Simon said.

"Speaking of which. How old are you?" Kamina asked me.

"14," I answered. "Why?"

"I told you so, Simon," he chuckled.

"I'm done trying to understand guys. Look Kamina, if you're trying to set Simon and I up, I already have someone waiting for me when I get back. I'm sorry," I straightened out.

"What's his name?" He asked.

"Mikazuki Augus. He's my brothers best friend, and I've known him my entire life," I answered.

"Is he sweet?" The girl asked.

"The sweetest," I answered.
