Hanna

I met up with Yoko, Kamina, and Kittan outside the ward. Now we're inside and going to Simon.

"How long you gonna sit there and sulk when everyone's home is being demolished?" I asked Simon and stood in front of his barred door with the key dangling from my hand.

"Hanna! Wait. Why did all of y'all come?" He asked.

"Well that's a stupid question," Kamina stated.

"Seriously Simon? Two reasons. You're the only one who can use Lagann, and then there's the matter of, if we don't get you out of here, the moon will kill us all and what will happen to our children when we die," I said.

"Good point. Let me out then," he said.

I unlocked the door and stepped to the side. He walked out and hugged me.

"Thank you," he said. "Now, may I have the keys?"

I handed the keys over to him with a confused look on my face. He turned to Vural and let him out.

"What are you doing?" Yoko asked.

"He can help us greatly," Simon answered.

"Vural? Be helpful?" Kamina asked.

"Right now, this should be the least of our worries. The earth is about to be demolished, and there's still innocent citizens here," I said.

"Right. Let's go," Yoko said.

We made our way out of the ward, but one of the prisoners grabbed my arm harshly, and jerked me back. My back hit the bars painfully.

"Let her go!" Simon demanded and kept his body tense.

"Make me," he said.

Simon unlocked the door, but then stopped when he looked at me as if I'm doing anything. All that I know is that my red, left eye feels different from my right, blue eye, and my bottom... Ohhh... Vampalina 😂.

"N-No. Please don't drain me," the beastmen plead and let me go.

"Then next time, I suggest you do as you're told," I said and retracted my fangs.

"Yes ma'am," he rushed and stood back.

"Vural, I'm quite impressed you didn't kill any of these idiots," I commented and walked on.

"Are you ok? Is your arm hurt or anything?" Simon asked and walked beside me as he inspected my arm.

"I'm fine, Simon. Thank you," I said and smiled. "Now, how about we save not only earth, but Nia as well?"

"It's perfect," he said with determination.

We made it back to base, and Leeron greeted us happily.

"How was finally talking to your brother?" He asked me.

"Later, Leeron. I'm sorry, but my top priority is helping save earth so people have a home. Where's Gurren Lagann?" I asked.

"Hanna?"

I turned around and saw a somewhat familiar face. "Akihiro? What are you doing here? What the hell?!"

"Shut up and give me a hug," he rolled his eyes.

"Cold as ever," I mumbled and gave him a hug. Once I pulled away, I turned back to Leeron. "Sorry to cut the reunion short, but the moon getting closer will end it as well if we don't stop the anti-spirals."

"How can I help?" Akihiro asked.

"Keep Gimmy from losing himself. He tends to ignore Darry, no matter how much she tries. And Leeron scares the poor boy," I answered. "Now Simon, the rest from here is your battlefield. You tell us what we need to do."

"Don't worry bro. You got this. We'll have your back every step of the way," Kamina said.

"We promise to. Just say whatever," Kittan said.

"Alright," Simon said and started giving orders.

2 Hours Later

"MOMMA!!!" My four beautiful kids shouted for me.

"HANNA!!!" Simon shouted.

I'm at a war with the only person that has ever wanted to kill me. Myself. I'm going crazy, slowly but surely. My demons are consuming me little by little. The vampire I once was, is now trying to evolve and envelop me.

I cried out in pain. Looking around, earth is safe, my kids are crying for me, and Simon is being held back from running to my aid by Kamina and Kittan.

   Flashback

"Mika..."

"Yeah, Hanna?" He asked.

"Promise me that one day we'll be together?" I mumbled.

"We already are," he murmured.

"Not like this. I mean, as a couple. You know, like the people we see when we pass by," I sighed. This boy though...

"I promise. Now get some sleep," he said.

   Time Jump

"When you l-leave, what happens from there?"

"What do you mean?" I asked and craned my head to look at him better.

"Well, we don't know how long it'll be before we see each other again... What if we no longer want to be together by then? I remember how you asked me to promise you that we will... We've been doing great so far. What if that changes while you're gone?" He asked.

"Then we'll just have to see. Won't we?" I asked back and looked at him sincerely.

   End of Flashback

Is this punishment? For the promise Mika and I made?

"Hanna, come here," a woman's voice echoed.

"Where are you?" I cried out.

A woman, the same from when I was brought back to earth, walked into my line of view. Beside her is Reagan. He looks at me with a painful smile.

"Hanna, I hope you can forgive us, but it's time you become a full vampire and drink the amount of blood that you need to move on from this point," the woman said. I never caught her name... Sadly.

"Why? I'm fine the way I am. I prefer to stay a little human," I said.

"Your demons will kill you if you don't. Please. Stop fighting it," Reagan said.

"He's right," the woman said.

"I've never gotten your name. Why?" I asked.

"It's to be expected that you can't tell that I'm your big sister," she sighed sadly and looked down. "My name is Leona. Our parents left me when I was 5, and Orga was 2. Gjallarhorn kept me from saying anything because they knew what I am. A full fledged vampire. Lorgenome caused it. He brought me up as his child, and made it to where I live as an immortal."

"Hanna, please. Neither of us want you to die," Reagan said. "Please accept the vampire in you."

"H-How? What will happen if I do? What if I lose control or my memory?" I asked.

"We'll be here with you, holding onto your memories just in case," he assured me.

"Ok. Then, I guess I'll accept this and let it happen," I said.

"As you will," Leona said. Next thing I knew, my vision went black.
