There are several song outtakes from Frozen. Just one of these is 'More Than Just the Spare.'
Intended to be Anna's "big introductory song," 'More Than Just the Spare' got cut from Frozen in favour of 'For the First Time in Forever.' The song focuses more on Anna's feeling of not being as good as Elsa (the 'heir and spare' idea) and although it is one of my all-time favourite songs, even I have to admit that it does not suit the purposes of the movie as well as FTFTIF does.
As an interesting side-note, 'For the First Time in Forever' was written in only June 2013, just five months before Frozen premiered. Actually, most of the songs included in the movie were composed last-minute-ish, with the originals (like MTJTS) getting cut.
The above YouTube video was made by Leon Bastalic, so kudos to him! I think we all have to admit it is amazingly well-done and, whoever he is, Leon Bastalic did a GREAT job of capturing the essence of the song!
