Ok so let's be super non canon and let's take the ghost crew before they even joined the rebellion and let's just add a season 3 Ezra in there.

Ezra p.o.v.
It's been months and I haven't seen them. I've found the larger rebellion and with help from Ashoka aka fulcrum I've finnaly found there location. Me and chopper have had the ship to ourselves for about 5 months and it's horrible. Not just because I only have chopper but choppers a droid. It's lonely. Yes we have bonded through all of this but you can't help but miss family. I still remember them leaving me at my tower.
Flashback
" bye, don't worry Ezra we will be right back it's just a mission. Choppers here and the ghost is outside." I had recently gotten sick and against my best wishes they left me at my tower being all over protective. The ghost is here because they are using a transport to infiltrate a star destroyer and save some people who want to join the rebellion. " we will be back." And with that Kanen was the last to leave to find the trap that awaited them.
Flashback end
" Alright chopper you ready!?" " whop whop, whop whoop! " yes chop I'm excited to but
We have to get them first. "Ashoka you ready?" " yes master Bridger"(oh did I mention that Ezra was knited) we are going in.
3rd person view
Ezra had no idea what condition the crew would be in but they brought a few rebel fighters to help get them out. Ezra, Ashoka, and the rebel fighters snuck into a lowerlevel controls room so that chopper could get there cell block coordinates. " cell block a82. Everyone move!" Everyone moved along until they got to the crews cell. By then the empire had noticed the rebels but they kept going strong. The crew was not severely damaged but were unconscious. They grabbed them and took them back to the ghost.
Skip to after everything calmed down and in hyperspace.
Kanen and Hera p.o.v.
I had just woken up and I noticed Hera was with me. "Hera" she looked at me and said " we're on the ghost" we both just stared at each other and smiled. " we're out" "yes love" "Ezra!"
Kanen p.o.v.
I just realized we're on the ghost, Ezra must be here! Me and Hera got up and went to the cockpit door. But we dident run in and greet him because he was talking to someone I dident know. " thank you Ashoka," he sounds older. " the mission was a success. The ghost crew is back." " your welcome master Bridger." Master!? "I hope the ghost crew to be well soon. May the force be with you" Ezra nods and turns off the transmission. The he spots us but it's to late. " Ezra!" We run up to him and hug him. "You should be resting. You've been gone for months!" " Ezra your so old!" Hera was inspecting his hair and how tall he was. " And Ezra, why did she call you master?" Kanen had shock written all over his face. "while we were searching for you I went to the temple for help, and I was knited."
Hera p.o.v
I couldn't believe this! Ezra was a Jedi master and he's grown so much! (Picture a season 3 Ezra) soon after our mini reunion chopper, Sabine, and zeb came in and looked shocked. And then zeb did something really unexpected. Zeb just walked in went up and hugged Ezra! " I missed you to buddy." Ezra hugged zeb back and they went to celebrate the reunion of there family.
