The ghost crew strolled the streets of lothal, scanning the markets for any supplies that may be useful. They had some pretty successful missions in the past week and we're back on lothal to settle down. Hera and Kanen We're up in front while Ezra, zeb, and Sabine trailed behind. While they were walking Ezra felt a shift in the force. He wanted to tell Kanen but as he was catching up to the couple someone jumped gracefully from a building above, landing In between master and padawan. Kanen noticed emedietly, not only from seeing this out of the corner of his eye, but feeling to sudden fear and surprise comming from Ezra. " hello, Bridger. I've been waiting for our meeting." It took Ezra a few moment to finally realize that this was, in fact, his birth mother. She did not look like the same caring, loving, motherly rebel he remembered though. Now Mira was dressed in all black except for the red of her eyes and of her double lightsabers hanging on either side of her waist. " mom?" Ezra backed away and he heard zeb activate his bo rifle. " Hello deary." She stood there as if nothing was wrong. She had obviously been trained well as shown by her perfect posture and also battle ready stance. " why? why did it come to this? What happened to dad??" " your father was weak, had to much hope. He did not help the empire." She turned around and looked at Kanen and Hera. Kanen had his lightsaber at hand, not activated, but ready if needed. Hera had her comme out in case they needed a pickup. She seamed to examine them and when she was 'satisfied with her judgements she did the same to Sabine and zeb, who were also battle ready. " I see you've joined these pitiful Rebels." She practically spit out the words. " what do you want." Kanen seemed almost daring for her to fight him, seeing how much pain this was causing his padawan. " to offer you." She turned and bobbed her head towards Ezra." A choice. You can either join the empire and became a feared master in the winning side of this war, or, you can be defeated and killed with your rebel freinds." Ezra just stood there, shocked. He had thought his birth mother was dead for years and now here she is standing in front of him. " well? I don't have all day." Kanen then activated his lightsaber decided that this sith was not going near his crew. " oh you want a fight do you? Master Jedi?" Kanen lunged at her and she dodged the attack easily. " well son?" Ezra backed into zeb but he didn't care right now. His master was fighting his birth mothers and all he was doing was standing there. Zeb and Sabine were blasting from Afar while trying to come up with a plan, but there shots were easily dodged or deflected by the clearly experienced paun. "he's my padawan. We won't lose him to the sith." Kanen sounded completely enraged as he blocked the blows from the female inquisitor. "aw but you see.... He doesn't have a choice." She put all her strength into the next hit and threw Kanen into a nearby building. Not hard enough to knock him out but it still did damage. She threw his light saber aside and put a blaster up pointing at Kanen. She was about to shoot when she felt the barrel of another blaster against her neck. " he's my master. I'm not losing him to the sith. you move, I shoot. Put the blaster down. " she didn't put he blaster down. instead, she said" you won't. Your to cowerdus. Just like your father." " you want to find out?" Kanen was watching the exchange but didn't dare move with the blaster still pointed at him. Still doubting Ezra, Mira reached for her lightsaber but was stopped by a surge of electricity and pain in her back. She fell to the ground, dead or close to. Ezra still had his blaster raised when Kanen spoke. " Ezra.... We should get back to the ship." Kanen moved around the body and to Ezra who looked broken. zeb and Sabine ran to the ghost, which was now landed near them in the field. Hera had gone back to get it." Are you ok?" Kanen looked Ezra in the eyes and saw something... He couldn't place what it was but it was only there for a second before he bounced back to his normal self." Yeah... Come on, let's go." They both ran back to the ship and went to find the rest of the crew.
