The rebels had not had a mission for a while and were getting a little ( very) anxious. once they had one though, they were not pleased. No matter how boring or uneventful the ship of the ghost may have been at the time, anyone would have rather been bored than go to Hoth. The place was practically made of ice and had snow at least a foot deep. Sadly, Hera said that they needed to get the supplies stored there for the rebellion, and there was no fighting with Hera. so they ended up going to the seed bank on Hoth. while it was forgotten by most, the giant building was still stored nicely due to the cold temperatures. The seed bank had almost every type of seed imaginable, which would help chopper base if they could provide there own food. The ghost crew ended up taking the dreaded mission and were expected to get the supplies without misshapes, but when did things ever go right for them?
Hera P.O.V
"everybody ready?" I yelled as I lured everyone to the cargo hold. we had just landed on Hoth and no one was happy about going out in this weather. Everyone had a coat or some type of heavy clothing tucked away for these occasion except Ezra. he barely had anything when he came aboard the ghost in the first place and living on lothal, where it was hot year round, there was no need for anything more than a long sleeved shirt. We ended up running out and buying something before the mission, much to Ezras annoyance. he never wanted the crew to do anything for him and it took a lot of persuading just to get him to put it on. Once everyone was in the cargo hold and ready we started to the seed bank. right when the ramp opened you could see Ezra was amazed. " gees kid, never seen snow before?" zeb joked. Ezra shook his head and kept walking along with everyone else. it was only a few yards to the seed bank but with the snow and ice along they way it felt like miles. when we finnaly got inside there was no power. sabine went to work on the electrical while kanen and I tried to get some information on where everything was. " this thing is fried, and it looks like it has been for a while. the backup generator is completely empty." sabine said while messing with a bunch of wires. " Ok, well how about kanen, sabine, and Ezra go to try and find the seeds while zeb and I try to get this place running." I said. once I got my affirmatives kanen, Sabine and Ezra left to look for the seeds. I kept working on the main circuit board to try and find why this place shut down in the first place and reverse it to turn it back on. luckily I brought a backup generator so I used that to get minimal power. "let there be light" I said as a dull light filled the rooms and halls. the ventilation systems also started up which I got complaints about because a bunch of seed dust was now floating around. I continued working for about 10 minutes until I found the problem. " uhh guys" I said over the comme. " I found the problem." " and" kanen replied. " when the empire abandoned this place they didn't set up a backup reboot for the power generator so the system kept trying to keep the place up to date but it wooer its self out and over heated." kanen paused before responding. " can it still be fixed?" " yes, but the whole place would go on shut down for about 40 min. the doors couldn't be pried open anymore. do you want me to start it?" I asked. " yeah, we'll be fine here." " ok, but be safe, love" I said." when am I not?" I smirked and started the shutdown. almost emedietly the automatic doors shut tight. all I have to do now is wait.

Ezra P.O.V
Kanen, Sabine, and I have been walking around the dimly lit halls for a while. Kanan and Hera forced me to wear this stupid jacket they bought. they shouldn't have even bought anything it wasn't worth it wasting credits on me. anyway kanen had decided it would be best to split up and look for the seed chambers, which I wasn't liking. I didn't want to sound like a baby but this place was creepy and big. it reminded me a lot like and imperial shuttle,which didn't settle my nerves. I was slightly listening in on Hera and kanens conversation when suddenly the doors around me all slammed shut. I then remembered that hera was doing the restart and the seed bank would shut down for a while. " well this is boring" I said into the comme. I wasn't gonna sit here for 45 minutes doing nothing. " part of life kid" zeb responded. well I guess were just playing the long game. but something didn't feel right....

kanen P.O.V
we had been waiting for about 15 minutes when Hera came in over the comme. " everyone doing alright? I got the security cameras working so I see where the seeds are." I got up and looked around more while responding. " and?" " well Ezra's the closest, he's only a few rooms down.... is Ezra ok?" I stopped what I was doing at the mention of my padawan. " I don't know. Ezra?" no response. " what's he doing?" Hera paused for a minute before responding " he's just kinda sitting there. there's a transmitter in the corner of your room. get it up in running and ill show you what I see." " ok" I got the transmitter that looked to be at least years old and got it up. Hera sent me the footage and it was just like she described, Ezra sitting cross legged in the middle of the room doing nothing. " do you have audio on this?" I asked. " yeah, let me hook it up." once she got them audio in I tried to talk to him. " Spector 6 come in." we could hear it go through the comme but he didn't respond. " Ezra?" he seemed to respond this time but I had to strain my ears to hear him. " I'm sorry master.... I can do better, I swear" I was utterly confused now because he was obviously trying to talk to me but he seemed dazed. I cut out his side of the conversation and only talked to Hera and Sabine, who was listening in. " uh Hera what's wrong with him?" I heard her moving things around trying to find an answer when Sabine cut in. "could you transmit the footage to me please?" " sure" once Sabine had the footage she seemed to get more worried. " Hera?" she asked. " what that powder near the vent?" " um just some seed powder, why" " that's not seed powder. that's seed fungus. when you breath it in it affects your brain, specifically the fear part. it can make people have hallucinations of there worst fear, and they can do dangerous things to end them." I had to process this for a minute. " so there hallucinating, but they can be like overridden right?" "no. they are legitimate virtual realities, completely different worlds. we need to get him out of there, and quick." " Hera how much time on the restart." I asked. " about 20 minutes. how long does he have?" Sabine sighed and said "not that long." I though for a minute before saying. " why didn't Sabine and I get affected?" Hera responded with " the vents in your area turned on last. if your in there for much longer you'll start to hallucinate too but its only him for now." Hera seemed a little stressed. " cant I just cut through the door and get Ezra?' I asked. " no. there's to much seed dust in the air for you to just run to him. your best bet is to get Sabine and get here. where is Sabine?" I looked on the holo transmitter and saw her looking dazed just like Ezra." Hera listen in on both Ezra and Sabine." she hummed a response and I started listening to Ezra first. " I promise to be better...." his voice was barely audible. " I'm sorry master.... I'm sorry kanen I can do better. please don't leave...." I was shocked by this. why was this the kids worst fear? why didn't he fear the empire or something but instead he feared me?
