Cooking for Jin

I know its a little late but happy birthday Jin!!

~Y/N's POV~

I wake up to the soft buzz of my phone against my face. I tiredly rub my eyes and look up at the ceiling of the room. I look over to the person next to me and see that Jin is still sleeping soundlessly. I quietly get out of bed trying my best not to disturb his sleep.

I stand up against the side of the bed and he stirs in his sleep. I see him reach his arm out for where I should have been and I place a pillow in his arms instead of me. He hugs the pillow into his chest before he stops moving. 

I let out a soft sigh of relief and start to change my clothes for the day. I grab the clothes that he picked out for me when we went shopping the other day and get ready as quickly and as quietly as possible.

I make my way downstairs after taking one last look at Jin sleeping in the bed. I walk into the kitchen and take a deep breath. Y/N you got this. Just do exactly what he taught you to do.

I was never a good cook, but Jin always made it a point that he wanted to have me help him in the kitchen to try and improve my skills. Weither it worked or not, I'm not to sure. But, he hasn't gotten sick from my cooking yet so I can only assume that I'm doing something right.

I start to take out all the pots and pans needed as I make my attempt at making him breakfast for his birthday. This shouldn't be to hard right?

I set the pan down on top of the stove and turn the indicator on to heat it up. To be really simple I decide to make him eggs with luncheon meat and toast. Really simple breakfast but really good too.

I take out the eggs and the meat and start to cook them as I place the bread inside the toaster. As I cook the eggs and the meat on the stove I feel something wrap around my waist causing me to jump almost knocking over the pans on the stove. I turn around and see Jin hugging my waist.

"Good morning beautiful"

I place a and over my chest," Jeez you scared me, but good morning."

He places a kiss on my neck before pulling away," Is this you were replaced by a pillow this morning?" he asks.

I nod my head as I continue to cook the things on the stove," I decided I would try and make you breakfast this morning for your birthday."

"Awe how sweet of you, but I would have rather had you in my arms than a pillow" he states.

"Hey, at least you got food this morning" I retort.

"I'm not complaining" he says with his hands in the air," I can't wait to eat it though it smells delicious."

"Yeah let's just hope it tastes as good as it smells" I laugh.

"Oh how hard could it be to make eggs and luncheon meat?" he asks.

I point a finger at myself," Have you met me? I'm pretty sure I can burn water and you know for a fact that I can't cook."

I finish cooking everything and start to plate it so we can eat breakfast, everything so far looks fine, which is a really good thing. I place Jin's plate in front of him on the table as he rubs his hands together," I don't know what you are so worried about, it looks amazing!" 

"Don't say anything until you actually eat it and don't get sick from the food" I state.

"Well, then I will be the judge of that, now won't I" he smirks as he picks up his chopsticks.

I settle in my seat and grab my chopsticks as well and watch him take the first bite. He pauses for a little bit before putting more food in his mouth," So I'm taking it's good then?"

He nods his head and swallows the food in his mouth," Its great. I wonder who taught you how to cook" he winks.

"Oh don't be so full of yourself, but I do appreciate the teachings" I smile.

"Not that I'm tooting my own horn, but toot toot" he smiles.

I let out a soft laugh trying to keep the food in my mouth from falling out," Just eat your food stop it."

"Jagi that was amazing!" he exclaims," Maybe you should start cooking the food everyday now."

"What? No, I don't think I'm that good of a cook. Besides you love to cook and the food that you make is ten times more amazing" I confess.

He reaches for my hands across of the table and takes them into his own," Well we can split the days then, how does that sound?"

I shrug my shoulders," I'm still not that good yet."

"Don't worry about it, I'll be there to help you if you need my help jagi" he smiles.

"Okay, sounds like a plan. But, besides all the cooking what do you want to do today?" I ask.

"How does staying with you all day and cooking all the meals together?" he asks.

"Don't we do that all the time though?" I question.

"We do it all the time, but I love the fact that we can stay with each other and cook together all day long. You want to get better don't you?"

I nod my head," Of course I do."

"Then what's better than me getting to spend time with the person I love the most and for you to get to gain more experience with cooking" he smiles.

"That's a true statement I guess. Then again I love to spend time with you too. Let's clean up then we can do whatever your heart desires."

I give him a quick kiss before we both start to clean up the mess I made in the kitchen and continue on celebrating Jin's birthday the way he wants too.

A/N: Feels weird coming back after a week of not doing anything, but it's great. Check out my other story's, especially my Taehyung story. Thinking about just putting one update up a week, I'm not to sure. My schedule has been getting more and more hectic, I will keep you all posted.
