So apparently there is some kind of geek party going on at Smackle's house today? I honestly don't know. It's gonna be pretty lame but when Farkle and Smackle plan it what can we expect...They say they're arch-nemesis but I think they'd be kinda cute together.
Anyway, Smackle made me spend the night and was practically begging me to help her with the decorations... Okay so she wasn't begging but I am going to make sure this is the coolest party ever...well as cool as a geek party can get.
I was honestly kinda excited. I was finally going to have a chance to hang out with Farkle, just Farkle and I, no Riley, no Maya. It's been about a month since the final debate and I think I'm ready to face my friends. I don't really get depressed just by thinking of them anymore. I don't think I'm ready to tell them I'm Evie yet but maybe I'll tell Farkle who I am. I've been struggling with the idea but I miss having Farkle around.
Anyway, I was ecstatic. I'd set up these things to hang down from the ceiling, they looked like lightsabers. I'd even put together a little Star Wars outfit to match.
The party was going great, everyone was smiling and having a nice time. There were two guys and they sat on each other's shoulders making it look like they were one tall man. Anyways the party had started and almost everyone was here according to Farkle. Speaking of Farkle him and I were in the kitchen having a pretty nice conversation.
As I slowly became more comfortable with him I grew nervous too. Right as I was about to tell him who I was the doorbell rang and he left to go answer it telling me he'd be right back. After 10 minutes he hadn't come back and I walked into the main room only to see Riley there. I wasn't upset...just a bit disappointed. I let out a small sigh and grabbed my bag, texting Smackle I was leaving before making my way home to my apartment.
