A/N: Hey! Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've been really busy with some health stuff and my idiot brother forgot to pay the Netflix fee. I was originally waiting for him to get it back cause it's easiest to just use it there but since it's been so long I decided to just watch them somewhere else and blah blah blah y'all don't care. I just wanted to say I PROMISE I will never stop writing this or any of my stories. I can't stand when people do that and if it comes to the day that I do somehow lose my inspiration I'll write an ending not just leave it, I swear!

I didn't have to work this weekend so anyone wanna guess what I did? I went with Lucas... to Texas. I might...have a teeny, tiny little crush on him but it uh doesn't matter, it's not like I'm gonna tell him or anything. Anyway, I came back late Saturday on my own because I wanted to give him time alone with his friends, they're really great people.
So right now I was in class, the seat next to me empty. I already knew where he was cause he'd texted me. Lucas's flight was delayed. Anyway, I was sitting at my desk today, I don't know why I just kind of felt like sitting here, listening to Cory drown on about elections.
"Democracy. Our form of government where the power lies with the people. So who here can tell me another form of government where the power doesn't lie with the people?" Without even getting called on Farkle raised his hand and shouted "Farkle! Thank you, sir. Dictators. Love 'em. They get to do whatever they want. I wanna be one someday"
With that, I heard the back door open and I turned to see Lucas coming inside. That wasn't what was so shocking, though, it was the fact that Cory was holding his arms out and shouted in a VERY excited voice "Mr. Friar!" Lucas handed Cory a pass before heading to his seat "Sorry for being late, sir. My flight was delayed"
"You went back to Texas again this weekend?" I can't tell if Riley is happy or upset about that "Visited my friends" As soon as he sat down I turned to him "I told you, you should've taken the other flight" He rolled his eyes and pulled a piece of paper out his pocket "Shut up, by the way, Zay wanted me to give you this" I take it in my hands and noticed it had a phone number on it with the words 'call me?'
I wasn't sure what to think about it so I just stuck it in my pocket and turned my attention back to the girls "Aww. Cowboy's got the blues. Campfire for one, my friends are all cows and numasal. Har-hurr Har-hurr" I put a hand over my mouth to keep in my giggles. Lucas had pulled out a harmonica from who knows where and started playing along with her.
"I will never get to you, will I?" "No, but I sure do appreciate the effort" "Ooh!" As Maya turned back to the front and did that shaky thing I put my hand between our desk and Lucas silently high-fived it.
"Okay, guys, seventh-grade student council elections are coming up" Everyone in the class made depressed groans, well except Farkle he did this excited "Yay" thing. Cory's face looked completely confused and he once again held his arms and overdramatically said "Why that?"
