This idiot, I'm gonna kill him! I planned to spend my Christmas at home sitting on the couch watching 'happy' more like depressing movie marathons like I've done for the past how many Christmases. But nooo Cory has to call me and scream about some sort of important thing I had to see. Something about it being life or death. If I don't get cake out of this, somebody's gonna die.

So that's what I was doing rushing over to the Matthew house first thing in the morning "I"M HERE!" I screamed as I rushed in the door, completely out of breath. I looked around to see the typical Matthew house only with Christmas decoration everywhere.
"Uh...What's the emergency? Why'd I have to rush over here, you ruined my plans mister" I point an accusing finger at Cory who sheepishly shrugged "Well uh I needed to make sure you came" At that moment I realized nothing was actually happening and he was just being over dramatic to get me here.
I stared at him with a blank face "Cory...Run"

"AHHH!" I listened to him scream and without a second thought, I ran after him. I almost had him when I tripped over a present and landed on my back.
"...Did you just fall" I could practically see the smirk on Cory's face "...No, I attacked the floor" It was silent for a moment "...Backwards?" I sat up, grabbed a pillow from the couch and threw it at him "I'm freaking talented!"
After that things calmed down a bit. We were currently finishing up decorating the tree "Honey, this is our first year hosting the holidays. Is your mom gonna go easy on me?" I couldn't help the snort that left my lips because it was clear by the look on Cory's face it was gonna be bad.
"You want comfort or truth?" Hm, wonder how this will turn out "Comfort" "It's gonna be hideous" "I said I want you to comfort me!" I watched as Cory just wrapped his arms around her and said the exact same thing "It's gonna be hideous"
"It's Maya and Vee's first time with us, and I need the holidays to go good for them" "Aw" I couldn't help walking over and giving her a hug. I mean technically it isn't my first holiday with them but she doesn't know that "Well, I need the holiday to be good for your mother"
"Liar!" Yeah we all knew that was bullcrap "Liar! I need the holiday to be good for Shawn. Shawn's coming!" I don't know if I should be excited or not for meeting this...Shawn. I've heard a lot and I mean A LOT of stories from Cory and well, I'm sorta worried he won't be as great as I imagined him to be.
