Chapter 2~ Post Concert

"Dance dance!" Patrick belted the last lyrics of the song into his mic as I strummed my final chord. I dropped my guitar to the stage as the crowd cheered and exited to the backstage area. I wiped the sweat from my forehead with a cloth and chugged a water that had been placed on a table for us.

"Good show tonight," Joe breathed as he stripped from his jacket. He took a bottle from the table and poured it on his face, shaking his mop of dark curls like a dog after a bath.

"Jesus, Joe," Patrick grimaced as a few droplets of water/sweat hit his face.

"Chill, princess. I think we all need a good shower anyway. I think this is the best show we've done," Joe laughed in return. Patrick rolled his eyes and let out a chuckle.

Patrick turned and started walking off and I remembered my original intentions. "Pat, wait. I want you guys to meet some friends of mine," I informed them. They shook their heads and followed me in the direction of the painted on the floor to direct us around. I led them a few rooms over and immediately saw Ella and Ryder.

As soon as I entered they saw me. I enveloped Ryder in a hug before I realized what I was doing. "Ew, you're all sweaty," she laughed. I let go of her and ignored everyone's confused stares.

"Guys, this is Ryder and Ella. Girls, this is Patrick, Joe, and Andy," I introduced them. "And I'll be introducing you to someone else in a fe- oh there he is. Brendon, this is Ella and Ryder."

They both looked like they were on the verge of passing out right there. "Hi," Ella said warmly as she held her hand for him to shake. He laughed at her formality and gave her a hug, which she returned.

Everyone exchanged their hellos and made small talk for a few minutes until our body guard informed us it was getting late and we needed to get our stuff ready for the tour bus. He left talking to Joe and Brendon, Patrick and I took this as our opportunity to exchange numbers.

Once we got the girls' numbers, it was time to leave. I decided to give Ryder a hug once again and I muttered in her ear, "Meet me outside in an hour?" We pulled apart and she nodded and we went our separate ways.
