I'm amazed the commandant has shown up to see me off! I'm still in shock about getting the mission in the first place. The first thing I notice is the airplane, it looks like a huge metal coffin, maybe I should just fly along side it. I'm about to voice my concerns when the commandant hands me a bouquet of roses. "These flowers are to congratulate you 777, on your hard work." says the commandant. I respond by smiling and nodding.

"Time to get on the plane, Skyler." the lieutenant informs me. I guess that there is no turning back now. I slowly and carefully step onto the metal coffin of doom, testing the floor before I put my weight on it as if it will magically disappear right in front of my eyes. To my relief it seems sturdy, so I quickly head to an empty seat next to the only other person on the plane whom I assume is lieutenant Mary. When I sit down I place my flowers next to me and smile at Mary.

It isn't unbelievable that Mary is my aunt. She has the same blond hair, and blue eyes, although she is much taller than I am. VROOM! I grab the arms of my chairs as the engines start up. I close my eyes and try to imagine myself back in the arena, or well any where besides in this flimsy tin can. Why can't I just fly there with my wings, because it is an order and I follow orders. I was ordered onto here so in the tin can I would fly. I'm not always going to be in control and I need to come to terms with that. I grind my teeth in determination, still trying to block out the engine noises.

The rest of the plane ride is thankfully, uneventful. I fell asleep and didn't talk to Mary once. I wake up to a voice coming over the intercom telling me to fasten my seat belt because, we are landing. I quickly put on my seat belt, the sudden rush of Adrenalin from my fear of landing in a plane clears my head. My knuckles turn white as I grip the arms of my chair, as if doing that will save me if something goes wrong. Before I know it I'm told via intercom that we have landed.

Mary pulls two suitcases from an overhead compartment, and silently hands me a big, lavender suitcase, while keeping a small, black one for herself which makes sense since I'm the one moving here. I then follow her off the plane, and to my delight it's a beautiful fall day. I'm quite surprised at all of the people at the airport, they are all so different, and some are dressed quite strange. The airport is so big that I'm struggling just to keep up with Mary. I break into a jog to try and catch up to Mary because, I had stopped to gaze at a luggage carousel.

Suddenly I feel myself slam into another person, I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head as I hit the ground. I slowly sit up and look around, I spot a young man around my age also lying on the ground. He has black hair and an olive complexion, with hazel eyes. I can't believe I did that and lost Mary. I rush over to him ignoring the pain in my head. "Are you okay?" I ask concern flooding my voice. He sits up with a sharp intake of breath, he rubs his forehead and answers, "yeah, I think so anyways." I can't help but sigh with relief, I was so worried.

"I'm so sorry that I ran into you, my aunt got away from me so I started running to try and catch up... I'm just so sorry." I just can't believe I lost Mary. not even an hour here and I have already messed up.

"It's fine, and I'm sorry about your aunt. It's not just your fault we crashed into each other. I'm Jack, by the way." jack said with a warm smile. I can't believe he isn't furious with me.

"I'm Skyler, I'm sorry but I have to go find my aunt." I smile back, then glance around trying to spot her.

"I can take you to customer service, so that they can page your aunt." said Jack helpfully. I really couldn't refuse seeing as I had no other way of finding Mary, so I nodded my head.

"What brings you to Washington, today?" Jack asks me with a curious look on his face. He looks at me intently as I prepare to answer.

"I'm starting a new job here tomorrow. It's a job as an executive assistant for some military leader. I think his name is Mr.Ward, I'm really not sure though." I'm extremely pleased with how normal my answer sounds, and it is true, I am going to do a job as an executive assistant for a Mr.Ward, I'm just also on a mission.

Jack smiles ear to ear as he responds, "That's funny because I'm a high ranking military official who happens to be expecting a new executive assistant to report to me tomorrow, by the name of Skyler Hawkins." I stop mid stride and just stare at my new boss whom I had ran over. right when I thought I couldn't screw up any worse, losing Mary and running into my new boss, ugh! "Come on, we are almost there we just need to keep walking." Jack was trying to get me to keep walking, I barely heard him. I walked the rest of the way in almost a trance but snapped out of it when we reached the customer service desk.

"How can I help you?" asked a older man with white hair and a hunched over back. I have to find Mary, I can't let my previous mistakes ruin the entire mission. I take a couple of deep breaths and zone out as Jack talks to the old man behind the counter. "Skyler, Skyler! What was your aunt's name again, Mary?" Hearing my name brings me back to the present. "Yes, Mary is her name, thanks for helping me by the way you really didn't have to do that." I smile up at Jack and the nameless old man. I sigh in relief as I hear a message calling a Mary Hawkins to the customer service desk.

I wait impatiently for Mary to get here, searching the crowd for a blond woman. Finally I spot her, Jack had already left at this point. She looks more furious than I had previously thought was possible. I feel my heart trying to beat out of my chest as she comes closer and still closer, until she grabs my arm and drags me towards the exit at break neck speed. I don't talk to Mary because I know that in doing so I would be unleashing a torrent of rage upon myself. When we get outside we (we meaning Mary) flag down a strange yellow car. The driver asks us where we wish to go and Mary hands him a slip of paper, which I assume has my new address on it.
