"Get down here you excuse of a child!" My mother screamed, more like witch "GET DOWN HERE OR YOUR BROTHER IS GONNA LEAVE YOU!!" My so called Father screamed.
That got my attention i jumped out of bed, took a really quick bath and i mean quick. I brushed my long black curly hair and started to apply some concealer to some bruises on my face that i got from..my parents..If you haven't realised already i have abusive parents.
Anyway..as i was applying my concealer my brother walked in. "Ocean what are you doing..we're gonna be late again, come on you don't need make up Ocean" my brother said grabbing a rag and wiping of my makeup when he saw a huge scar on my left cheek. "OCEAN! HOW DID YOU GET THIS!! was..it m-mom, " I quietly said "No..I had my music on and i didn't hear when Dad called me down for dinner so...he argued with me then dragged me downstairs and took a knife and cut my cheek while mom just stood there laughing.."
"Ocean..." My brother said in disbelief " No no no I'm getting you out of here you can come and live with one of your friends or-"
No Josh, if you do that they will think that i put you up to this and hurt me more ..I'm 17 just 8 more months and i can leave this hell hole plus I'm kind of used to it.."
My brother deep blue eyes stared at my sea green eyes, then he sighed and said " Ok..Ocean fine.."
I smiled "Thanks Josh! Now get out so i can reapply my makeup" I said rolling my eyes then laughing
"Ok, ok" my brother said putting his hands up in defence and slowly backed out of my room.
When i finished applying my makeup. I quickly walked down stairs grabbed a granola bar from the cupboard and ran out the door with my hair flying behind me.
I opened the door to my brothers Red BMW and shut the door. He quickly sped off making me actually early for once!
I got out of the car and said good bye to my brother yadayada. As i walked to my locker some random students that i seriously couldn't even remember meeting waved at me. Me being the nice person i am *sarcasm noted* put on a fake smile and waved back.
Five minutes after I got my stuff from my locker I spotted my two best friends Lizzie and Sara I quickly ran over to them waving my hands like a mad person..yeah people stared but I didn't really care.
I put my elbow on Lizzie's shoulders and said "Sup" we were all silent for a moment then burst out laughing. I was about to say something when the bell for first period rang I pouted while Lizzie laughed at me and Sara rolled her eyes while saying "C'mon guys I don't wanna be late for Math!
