In the bedroom Faye could now call hers, she hummed to herself as she looked into her vanity mirror, brushing her long strawberry blonde hair.
"Hello, Niklaus." She said suddenly, not breaking her focus from what she was doing. She had known he was there for quite some time, actually. And being a vampire she heard the argument between the human and the hybrid just moments before.
The hybrid let out an almost silent breath as he took slow steps into the room. He stayed focusing on her, an almost longing look In his gorgeous blue orbs.
Neither of them were on alert, this seemed normal for them. As if it was a common occurrence, and no one made a sound as Faye turned to face the beautiful man, who was now known as a monster. The slightest gasp left both their mouths.
They were centimeters away from each other and while Niklaus was in a daze, looking over her whole face. As if searching for any difference, even though as a vampire, physical change was impossible.
The eyes of the hybrid lingered on her plump, light pink lips, before his eyes trailed up to her hazel orbs. There was a hint of mischief in her eyes, but yet, hadn't there always been? But as if looking at a picture, Niklaus could see the human part, fighting its' way through her cold exterior.
A smirk was on her lips as she backed away from the man who had ruined her life. "Tsk Tsk, Nikky boy, didn't your mother teach you not to stare?" The vampire teased.
He snapped out of his daze and a scowl grow deep on his face. "What are you doing, in New Orleans Faye?"
A loud, humorless laugh escaped past her lips as she heard what Niklaus thought was a demanding tone. She found it hilarious that he believed that he had any control over her, whatsoever.
She gasped, and feigned a look of shock, "Niklaus, what has happened to your manners?" While the hybrid rolled his eyes, the girl muttered something about him never having any.
"You need to leave this city, now. You have no business here. No one wants you here." Niklaus demanded, in an annoyed tone. Thinking of earlier that day when his own brother sided with this girl.
The smirk was still visible on her face as she replied cockily. "I bet your brother wants me here. And if not him, which I highly doubt, the human, Camille she has seemed to rather enjoy my company. Marcel too, man that guy is a flirt, he's got charm though." She listed off, but began rambling one again, "honestly, I don't see why that mutt..what was her name? Ah yes, Hayley, I don't see what her problem is. Rather the antisocial wolf isn't she? And the way she just hands her child to Camille to inflict violence on someone she hadn't met yet." She tutted and turned back around to face a rather pissed off Niklaus Mikaelson. "You're choice in women Nikky boy, it's very distasteful. At least get a girl who can do it all." She teased, yet again, adding a wink at the end.
With that, the strawberry blonde was gone, out of sight, and merely seconds later, so was the hybrid, with a lot to think about.
