After crying in each others' arms for a moment, the two finally pulled apart. Neither of them expected to see each other again.

Sure, Klaus and Elijah because let's be honest, Klaus couldn't live without Lijah there to clean up his messes. Nevertheless, the two girls were happy to see each other again.

"What are you doing here Faye?" Rebekah asked, curiously, wiping away the tears that had betrayed her.

A feigned look of hurt showed up on Faye's face and she clutched her heart. Muttering "Bex, you hurt my soul." The blonde rolls her eyes at her friends attempt to avoid the subject.

"Since when do you have a soul?" Another new yet familiar voice comes from the door. There, leaning against threshold was Kol Mikaelson, a teasing smirk on his face but sadness in his eyes. He missed Faye, mainly because she was the first person to accept him, for him. But also just because she was amazing all around.

A smirk was on her face once again, but it wasn't her usual cocky one. Faye's eyes brightened at the sight of her other best friend. Klaus watched with sad eyes as Faye sped to him and buried her head in his chest.
The cockiness that is normally there seemed to vanish as he smiled genuinely and rested his chin on the top of her head, his arms wrapped around her waist.

To anyone else it would look like they had something more than friendship, but to Elijah Mikaelson it was just the happiness of the girl he loved reuniting with her best friend. That was the thing about Elijah, he was a trusting man, and while Faye wasn't technically his, he liked to think so.

The two finally pulled apart and Klaus sighed in relief, but no one seemed to notice. It was as if everyone had stopped to see what would happen between the two. "Hey red. I missed you." He whispered in her ear and she giggled slightly, causing Klaus to clench his jaw in attempt to contain his anger and jealousy. Freya seemed to be the first and only to notice Niklaus's reaction as she sent him a curious glance. Of course, he just waved her off and she shrugged.

"I missed you too Koala." She whispered back,  causing Kol to smile at the nickname. He had always despised it before, he never thought it would actually feel so good to hear her call him that again.

Faye looked around, noticing everyone staring at them and rolled her beautiful hazel orbs. She glared at them and shouted, "fuck off!" Before grabbing Kol's hand and speeding off with her laughing best friend.
