Faye let out a sigh as she glanced up at the bartender, yet again, who had been giving her a look since they got back from the "Save Cami Mission".

Regret or guilt isn't something this vampire felt often, but right now was one of those rare times.

While Camille stood at the doorway, watching the strawberry blonde, Faye was sat on the couch. Her head down, as if she was scolding herself, but would look up every now and again to be greeted by the look of disappointment.

"You can stop staring at me like I'm going to eat you now." Faye joked, attempting to break the uncomfortable silence. Yet, the bartender stayed in her stance, obviously judging the strawberry blonde with her eyes. Snarky comments came to mind, but Faye didn't act on them.

Faye spoke up yet again when she took note of her lack of response. "Okay, so maybe I'm some what to blame here. Maybe I should've said something, but you are the one who stupidly welcomed me into your home knowing full well, that vampire exist!" She expressed, trying to reason.

Something about the disappointment in her eyes didn't bode well with Faye.

Normally, she didn't give two shits about what people thought, let alone humans, but Cami was her friend. Or so she thought. "So naive you are.." the vampire trailed off, not meeting the judgemental eyes of the bartender. Thoughts of what would've happened if it was any other vampire in New Orleans clouded her mind, resulting in her clenching her eyes tightly.

Faye's eyes shot open, revealing her hazel orbs as she heard a scoff emit from the blonde's mouth.

Cami took brave steps towards to where Faye sat as she finally shared words, "excuse me? I'm so sorry for not knowing that apparently anybody could be a vampire! And you, you tricked me, you acted so human I thought maybe I had one normal thing in my life. But nope, just another vampire with a big ego."

Faye clenched her jaw and was about to interrupt when Cami spoke again. At this point, she was praying to the lords she'd just shut her mouth before she said something she'd regret. "So what, y-you saved me? Well that doesn't erase all the bad you have done!" Camille spat, but her eyes showed a completely different story.

Yet, the bartender didn't stop the next words that kept her mouth, "all I see is yet another problem in my life." Of course, everything she had said, she had said out if anger.

She was grateful that Faye saved her life, and in all honesty, the anger was directed towards herself. How could she be so stupid when she knew of the supernatural?

Truth is, they both let their guards down, and are just now starting to regret it.

Those words sparked something, Faye's eyes narrowed and she stood up abruptly. Camille O'Connell, the human bartender, had made a huge mistake. "No one, and I mean no one talks to me like that Camille. You think Klaus will save you from me? You think Klaus will come to your rescue, that he'd protect you from death?" Faye asked, honestly curious as to why this little human would even try to intimidate someone who could kill her in a matter of seconds.

Camille shook her head, clenching her fist at her sides as she thought of the blue eyed beauty. "No. I don't, Klaus doesn't care about me. I'm just human, and one who isn't afraid of vampires. You can threaten me all you want, Faye. But that's not gonna get you anywhere. If you want me dead; kill me." Cami's bravery made Faye laugh, not because it was funny, but the fact she was so stupid.

Faye stopped chuckling and looked up at Cami through her dark eyelashes, a smirk on her face. Speeding Cami to the wall she asked, "so you do have a death wish? Hmmm, okay, if you are so eager to die." She hummed, choking her to the wall Faye had sinister smirk on her face as Cami gasped for breath.

Suddenly she stopped and leaned close to her ear, causing her to shiver. "I could kill you, Camille. But I won't. Let this be a warning to you, do not test me," she whispered into her ear, her voice low and dark.

The second Faye let go of the bartender, she was gripping onto her neck and staring at the vampire wide eyed. She'd never imagine Faye hurting anyone, and there she did. Fear sparked inside of her, how could it not? She almost died in her own home, by someone she trusted.

But, Faye was upset as well, she just hid it better.

"From now on, Camille, we are no longer friends." With that, Faye walked past the bartender, purposely bumping into her shoulder.

As soon as the door clicked closed, Cami gasped again. Tears streaming down her face as she slid down her wall, she couldn't help but ask herself, what did I just do?

A hand went over her mouth and her eyes widened in fear, she struggled for seconds before he was consumed into the ever so welcoming darkness.
