Chapter 13: The Wedding

No one's POV (sorry guys, it is really hard for me to do POV's for this one will have few different POV'S)

Night soon approached after Zane and Y/N had their encounter in the room. Y/N was once more getting ready for the wedding she was dreading. She had lost hope after Zane had told her about Garroth loving Aphmau and he wasn't coming to save her. She had lost hope and was decided to just accept her fate, even though deep down she was still hoping someone would come and help her. She was broken-hearted. Zane on the other hand couldn't be happier. He had won in his mind. He had stolen the one girl Garroth had ever truly loved and he had broken her. From what the guards had told him, she was doing whatever they asked her to do without any complaining. He also had another broken person he could hand over to the shadow lord.

Meanwhile Garroth, Laurance, Kaitlyn, and Dante had arrived at Okasis after sneaking past the guards at the gate now the only problem was sneaking past the guards for the wedding.

Kaitlyn looked at Garroth, "So, do you have a plan?"

Garroth looked around at everyone and said, "I have a plan, but first we need to put on these outfits."

Garroth tossed everyone a backpack and headed off to go change. Soon everyone had changed and met back up. They then discussed their next course of action. They each had put a hat or something to cover their eyes and snuck into the wedding. They all sat in different spots to assure that when they did strike, they would be able to attack each side.

Back to Y/N. She sat there, her E/C eyes dull and hopeless. A lady soon walked in.

"It's time."

Y/N stiffened up. She looked over to the servant and saw pity in the woman's eye's. She felt a tear come down her cheek and nodded. She stood and took the bouquet of roses and followed the servant to where the wedding was.

Outside at the wedding, Zane walked down to the end of aisle and turned around to face the crowd. The others locked eyes and nodded. Suddenly music started to play and their eyes immediately went down the aisle the where and there was Y/N. Garroth fist immediately clenched up. Her E/C eyes no longer sparkled and they were red. Y/N had tears streaming down her face as she walked down the aisle. Garroth locked eyes with everyone and gave the signal.

Garroth's POV:

Soon chaos broke out. People ran off screaming. Kaitlyn and Dante held off the guards and Laurance distracted Zane. The only thought running through my head was to get Y/N out of here while the others held off the guards. I pushed pass the people running and grabbed her by the wrist. She whipped her head around and struggled.

"Y/N it's alright it's me Garroth. We came to save you."

She looked shocked and then that look turned to hurt.

"Come on I don't have time to explain. Lets get you out of here."

I saw her look back and look at Zane. She looked away and nodded.

I grabbed her hand and we ran away, Zane screaming her name while fighting Laurance. We ran off to where I had hidden the horses. Soon Laurance, Kaitlyn, and Dante got on their horses and we rode off, the chaos of Okasis soon beside us.

"Can I get off now please, "I heard Y/N say from behind me.

I looked behind me and saw tears streaming down her face. I stopped the horse and she immediately hopped down. I was just about to jump down myself but Kaitlyn got my attention. She shook her head and hopped off her horse.

Your POV:

I walked away from Garroth and stood by a tree that wasn't to far from the group. I sat down and held myself while crying. I felt arms wrap around me and knew it was Kaitlyn.

"Shh, it's okay Y/N. Your safe now. You don't have to worry about Zane right now."

I wrapped my arms around her crying harder.

Zane isn't the only problem.

I pushed away from the embrace and looked her in her pale blue eyes.

"Zane isn't the only problem."

She looked at me with worry in her eyes.

"Then, what's wrong?"

I looked down at the ground.

"It's Garroth. He doesn't care about me anyomore. He never has, he was just using me to make Aphmau jealous."

Her eyes widened in shock.

"Y/N what do you mean? He is head over heals for you, why would you say.... ugh ZANE! Did he tell you that?"

I nodded, not wanting to look at her.

She sounds mad.

She sighed and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Y/N, Zane lied. He only wanted to marry you with you willing to do it, but he couldn't do that with you in love with his brother. So he lied to you and made you believe that Garroth loved someone else. He only wanted to trick you."

I looked up at her.

"Are you sure Kaitlyn?"

She smiled.

"Positive, now why don't you back to him. We need to start heading back home."

I nodded and walked back to the horses. I walked over to Garroth's horse. He reaches out a hand to me and pulls me up on the horse.

I wrapped my arms around Garroth's waist and leaned against him.

"Thanks for coming to save me. It means a lot knowing someone cares about me that much."

I felt his body relax a little.

"There is no need to thank me for that."

I smiled a snuggled closer. I started falling asleep to the sway of the horse and one thought going through my head.

I am finally safe.
