"Kaiden?!" Suddenly she seems wide awake.
"The one and only." She sighs.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, so you went to a party I hope you didn't have too fun."
"Sage I was wasted and I-" She'll hate me, what am I doing? Was I going to destroy our relationship before it could develop. But Sage deserves to know the truth.
"What Kaiden?" She nervously chuckles.
"Sage..."

Sage's POV
"What Kaiden?" I chuckle quite nervous.This suspense is killing me.
"Sage... I'll call you later." He says and hangs up. Is he for frickin' real? You can never start something to a girl and then leave her hanging. I call him again. What is it that he can't tell me? Well it must be something deep if he's not telling me. My call goes straight to voicemail.
I'm so blooming confused. Putting everything to a side I flop back into bed.
Kaiden's POV
"I'll tell her- when I get back. I can't give her this news over the phone, no way." I speak to myself as I walk into my bedroom.
I have a cold shower, put on some clean clothes and flop into bed.
I fucked up. Big time. To the wrong person. With the wrong person.
I mean why Riley? This wouldn't have been this serious if it was someone else, it'll still be a bad thing but with Riley? Sage will think I still like her and still have feelings for her. It's going to get well complicated now.
How did this all even happen? I try to recall what happened last night. But each times my head aches, I didn't drink this badly for months... Kaiser and Sage... Riley showed me some pictures and then it finally all comes back to me like lightening.
I leave my phone on charge and try to catch up on some sleep.
Sage's POV
"What happened to Kaiden last night?" I ask Tyrone as we finish training.
"Nothing why ask?"
"He was acting a bit strange and then hanged up."
"Can I stop pretending to care?" He asks. I roll my eyes.
"One week left of boxing training then you have gun training. So much easier than boxing." At least I won't sweat when learning how to shoot.
"No you'll still sweat, you'll need to dodge, roll, jump and all sort to dodge a bullet." I thought at loud didn't I?
"What? Am I training to be a solider?" I complain.
"Such a failure in life Sage."
My phone beeps in my hand. I've got an email. I gasp. Is it from my hopefully future workplace?
I rush to open the email,
'Congratulation! Your job application and interview impressed Ms. Mannequin. We would also like to congratulate for being the head of this apartment of creativity -' that's all it took for me to scream in joy.
