|Ch3: Class is in session|

As Raine entered the building she noticed how students stood in different groups, well more like cliques. The football players hung out together in one area while the basketball team hung out in another. Meanwhile members of the band team hung out further down the hall with their instruments in hand.

Raine always wanted to join band but Richard never let her, he said that band wasn't good enough for her and that she could join a different team. One that would actually benefit her, like the girls basketball team.

Except, Raine had no interest in joining the basketball team whats so ever. It just wasn't her thing.

What Richard didn't know, was that you could get a bunch of scholarships for band. But then again the only thing that was in his eyes for Raine is basketball.

"C'mon Raine, I'll show you to the senior office. I'd show you around the school but I've got things to do and moves to make"

Raine simply nodded her head as she followed behind her. The halls of the school seemed like they were never ending. The school was much larger than her old one.

The lockers were red with fat blue locks in each if them. Welcome Back signs hung on the walls and classroom doors. She watched how everyone was hugging one another while catching up discussing their summer breaks.

What looked like freshman stood with their schedule's in hand while searching for their lockers. Raine wasn't one to talk down on freshman because she was once one herself not too long ago.

They walked up to the second floor where the senior office is located. Once the reached their destination Bianca turned on her heels to face Raine

"Well here we are. I'll catch up with you later. Bye honey buns"

She headed off into the other direction to do whatever it is that she had to do.

Taking a deep breath Raine entered the large office that were filled with eager seniors already trying to get their schedules changed.

"I am not changing schedules until next week, so those of you who are here for that said reason. Please leave my office, class hasn't even stared yet and you guys are already in here invading my personal space!" Mrs. Smith said as she tried to get her office under control with all the clearly angry seniors.

"You're being petty Mrs.Smith why can't you change them now?" A tall dark skin boy asked, he was actually kinda cute with his perfect white teeth, dark brown eyes and plump lips. He has a fresh haircut with waves and a perfect lining, he wore his football jersey with a pair of True Religion jeans. On his feet he wore nike slides. A very attractive young man. Unfortunately Raine isn't into guys at the moment.

"Because Marley I need to know who exactly is going to be in each class. I can't overflow the classes, new students are still coming in and other students are leaving" she explained

A bunch of groans filled the room as the students began to file out of the office.

Marley remained still trying to convenience Mrs.Smith to change his schedule. "You know me and Mr. E don't get along, do you not remember what happened last year"

"Yes I do recall but this is your senior year Marley I'm pretty sure that if you want to graduate you'll be on your best behavior, unless you want to be kicked off the football team"

Marley sucked his teeth in frustration then looked down at Raine's small frame, not knowing she was standing next to him the whole time.

"Am I holding you up little lady" He cracked a smile
