"She seemed a little less nervous once I explained that we're all crazy."
Phillipa, Anthony, Jasmine, Reneé, Chris, Oak, Leslie, Daveed and Jonathan are all hanging out on the stage.
"So she just needs to feel like she's not the weirdest one here." Leslie adds, and they nod.
"I'm sure we can do that." Anthony jokes, and they all nod.
"She seems nice, though?" Phillipa asks.
"Oh my god, Pippa, she's so sweet." Reneé replies.
"Lin adores her." Chris explains. "You should've seen the two of them when I got to his place this morning."
"What do you mean?" Oak asks him, and he grins.
"Hang on, I had Vanessa text me the picture." He grabs his phone and pulls up the picture Vanessa took of Lin and Genesis sleeping on the couch. "Look." He hands his phone to Anthony, who smiles when he sees it. He shows everyone the photo, and they audibly "aww".
"That is so adorable!" Jasmine gushes. "Look, she's all cuddled up and GAH!" They all laugh at her reaction.
"Lin said she had a nightmare and accidentally broke a glass when she got some water, which woke him up, so he went and cleaned it up and they fell asleep on the couch."
"That's so sweet!" Phillipa says, and then they all hear Lin's voice coming down the hall.
"Honestly, it's okay. Daveed was telling the truth, you're probably the most normal one here."
"You obviously haven't seen me in my true form yet." They all smile when Lin walks onto the stage with a teenaged girl.
"Guys, this is Genesis, and yes, she's a hugger." He says, and he turns to her. "Chris, Jon, Daveed, Reneé and Leslie you've met, but this is the rest of the main cast."
"Hi Genesis, I'm Anthony."
"I'm Jasmine, but call me Jazz or Jazzy and YOU LOOK SO HUGGABLE!" Jazzy proceeds to attack Gen in an excited hug, which makes her laugh.
"And I'm Phillipa but everyone calls me Pippa and JAZZY I AGREE!" Pippa exclaims, getting in on the hug. When they pull away, Oak smiles.
"Hey, I'm Okieriete, but please, for the love of God, just call me Oak." She laughs at this.
"You guys can all call me Gen." She tells then. "Everyone does."
"Well, Gen, we have a show in about two hours, you want a tour of the theater?" Anthony offers, and Lin speaks up.
"Yeah, I was gonna-"
"NO I WANNA DO IT!" Anthony cuts him off, and Gen laughs.
"I DO TOO!" Oak adds.
"SAME!" Leslie shouts, and Lin laughs.
"Well, then you three have fun." He says.
"Gen, get on my back!" Oak says, bending down.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, go for it!" She looks at Lin, who nods, and then jumps up a little onto Oak's back. She wraps her arms around his neck, careful not to choke him, and he supports her by hooking his arms under her knees. "And away we go!" The four of them walk off, and Lin smiles when he hears Gen giggling at Oak.
"So, Gen, how old are you?" Anthony asks her.
"I'm 15." She replies. "16 in four months."
"Oh cool! You gonna have a sweet 16?" Leslie asks, and she shrugs.
"I'm not really a party person." She tells him.
"Well the whole cast could always doing something with you! Just hang out, if you want." Oak suggests, and she smiles.
"I guess so." She says. "Thats if the whole cast likes me in 4 months."
"Oh, hush!" Leslie says.
"If we love you now, we're still gonna love you then!" Anthony says.
"I just met you guys." She chuckles, but they all shake their heads.
"Too bad!" Oak says, and she grins.
"Then, yeah. Just hanging out sounds awesome."
"Great! Alright, let's start this tour!"
