The kiss was heated and passionate. She opened her eyes and pulled back covering her mouth. "no. I can't do this." she turned away. "Itachi tell me exactly why you did that to me." she demanded not looking at him. "I was protecting you." he stood. "How in hell was that protecting me?" she stood as well. "I cared about you too much and lord Pein threatened to kill you if I got any closer." she stared at him dumbfounded. "I needed you to hate me so that I could have a reason to stay away. But I was always watching to make sure you were okay." he stopped and looked at her. She looked down. "Itachi, I'm sorry but I can't forgive you yet." He nodded. Itachi hooked his finger under her chin and made her look up. And he smiled. "I will wait." He let her go and started walking away. She didn't move and then she snapped out of her daze and ran to catch up with him. In silence they walked back to the hideout.

It was already dark out by the time they got back. Kisame was gambling with Kakuzu on the couch while Hidan watched. When Mizu walked in with Itachi, all eyes were on them. Mizu walked into the kitchen where Deidara was talking with Konan. "Hey Mizu o, un." she smiled at them. Konan didn't know of the situation with Pein because she was never in the room at the times when he did it. "Hey Mizu o, we're changing bases tomorrow so you need to pack tonight." said Konan walking around the bar. "Ugh, didn't we switch like three weeks ago?" Mizu complained grabbing a peach from the fruit bowl and leaning against the counter. "Yes, and we switch every couple of weeks, we've been here longer then needed." Mizu sighed and nodded. "Yeah this one will be near a lake, yeah. So we can go swimming, un!" Deidara cheered. Mizu smiled, she loved to swim. "Alright I'll go pack. Konan who am I traveling with tomorrow?" when changing hideouts they would travel with their partner and one set would leave every hour as to not draw suspicion. Konan looked down. "Well you will leave with Kisame and Itachi." Only Deidara Konan and Kisame knew of what Itachi did to her. Deidara stood up abruptly. "No! shell travel with me since I need a new partner, un." he glared down at Konan. Mizu and Konan were tall for women but the men in the Akatsuki reached six foot each. "Actually Tobi will be your new partner." Konan said glaring back. "Ladies, ladies calm down." Mizu said lifting her hand and gesturing down. Konan laughed while Deidara glared at them. "Look I'm fine traveling with them." Konan stopped laughing, her and Deidara stared at Mizu dumbfounded. She sighed and left the kitchen.

Once she stepped into the living room the talking stopped. She narrowed her eyes. "What's going on? You're planning something." she stated rather than asked. Hidan and Kisame were on the couch. Her head started to pound. She put her hand on her forehead and stepped back. "Mizu o?" asked Hidan standing up. "I-I'm fine, It's just a headache." she stepped forward and grabbed her head with both of her hands. "Ah god it hurts." she mumbled stepping forward again.

"I can crank up the heat."

Her eyes widened and she fell to the ground and yelled in pain. Deidara came out of the kitchen with Konan. "Mizu o?!" they ran to her. She started crying. And when she screamed again Itachi ran out of his room. He pushed Hidan out of his way because the whole Akatsuki with the exception of Pein was around her asking what was wrong. Itachi knelt down and picked her up bridal style and she instantly grabbed his cloak and buried her face in his chest. He carried her to the chair and sat her on the couch and the pain was gone. He wiped her tears and asked. "How many night have you gone through this?" she looked at him with dead eyes. "Every night." The pain always came but it didn't pass that of a mild migraine. He nodded and stood up leaving. Everybody stared after him. Kakuzu, Tobi, and Zetsu left. Konan, Deidara, Hidan, and Kisame all stood silent while they looked at Mizu. Konan sat down next to her. "I thought you hated him for what he did to you?"Konan said placing a hand on her shoulder. "Wait what did he do to her." Hidan asked. He didn't know what happened like the others in the room. "Itachi... he-he..." she stammered. "he did what?" Hidan prodded. She took a deep breath. "He put me in his Tsukiyomi." Hidan looked horrified and angry. She stood up before he could say anything. "Leave it, I'm going to bed."

She went to her bedroom and packed up all of her belongings into scrolls. When she agreed to join she was aloud to return and collect a few things. After that she took off the Akatsuki cloak and climbed under the covers. Soon she fell asleep.

Mizu awoke early just after sunrise. She went into the kitchen to grab a peach but they were all gone. She sighed and went back into the living room and saw Kakuzu on the couch. "Kakuzu?" she sat down on the other end of the sofa. He looked up. "We'll be moving to the lake base and I don't have a swim suit. Can I have some money?" she crossed her arms. "No." She sighed. "Five card stud?" she asked reaching for the cards on the table. He seemed interested and turned towards her. "If you win I'll give you the money but what do I get?" he asked. "You get to keep the money and I'll give you double what I would have won." she said while shuffling. He nodded in agreement.

After five decks and switching to black jack every once in a while Mizu held out her hand. "Royal flush." she raised her eyebrows. He sighed and nodded pulling out money and handing it to to her. She sat back and crossed her legs counting the money. "Thank you." she smiled and stood up. She walked back to her room and waited for everyone to wake up.

After another hour someone knocked on her door. "Come in." she said puting down the book of poems she was reading. Kisame opened the door. "Hey are you ready? We're the first group to leave. She nodded and got off the bed and slipped on the Akatsuki cloak and grabbed her straw hat. "I'm ready." he nodded and they met up with Itachi at the mouth of the cave and they left.
