The Executioners Blade

We stepped onto the smooth wood of the bridge and started walking. I couldn't believe we were here. After all these years. "Why are we here?" I said glancing at Sasuke.

"It's for something." He said. Nah shit really?!

I rolled my eyes and groaned as Suigetsu piped in. "Sasuke wants me to join his little team but I need my mentors blade first." He said with a toothy smirk.

"Blade?" I asked confused.

"The Executioners Blade. My mentor was Zabuza Momochi." His smirk turned into a grin.

My eyes widened as I paused mid stride. "The demon of the mist..." I was shocked.

Sasuke stopped as well and looked at me curiously. "How do you know of him?" He tipped his head to the side slightly along with Suigetsu.

It took a minute for me to respond and I shook my head. "Everyone did." He narrowed his eyes at me and then turned away walking again.

Sighing in relief I caught up and stayed quiet. Why was Sasuke making a team? I didn't have time to focus on that.

We made the long walk across the bridge into the town finally. we wouldn't be here long. The sword was left as a memorial on the hillside and I knew that's where Sasuke was leading us by the way he kept his eyes trained up and forward on the hillside.

It didn't take us a long trip either. We made it in only a few minutes but what we wanted wasn't there. The Executioners blade was gone! I was seething silently in my own little world. Despite his hellish existence, Zabuza died a good man.

"Sorry Sasuke. No sword. No deal." Suigetsu said feigning sadness.

I saw the wheels turning in his head. And that is how I know where we're walking right now. I saw the familiar house on the water as we went across the small dock to it.

I am so so sorry for such the long wait. I haven't had my phone because I left it in a different state when we came back from a trip so I ordered a new phone. This is short and I'm so sorry but schools been busy so I'll try my best to list at least once a week.
