"Talk to me. Talk to me. Talk to me." she mumbled with her eyes covered by black hair. She looked up. This time her eyes were purple. "So speak." She said. "I know you want answers." She sang. She seamed to float and do a slow back flip and gracefully land on the branch. I stared after her for a moment then she looked at me again. Red eyes. "I said speak!" her voice was evilly hard. Then she frowned and shrank back against the bark with her eyes blue. "What do you want to ask?" she was quiet and shy then.

"First of all. Why do I have to go to the shrine?" I asked recalling her words. She'd said that all the answers to my questions would be there.

"That I can't answer. That is an answer itself in the body of a question." Her eyes were green now.

"Fine" I climbed up to the same branch and sat down in front of her. "What is your name?"

She grew still. Her jaw clenched. "That again is something I cannot answer. As I do not have a name." Her eyes were blue.

"Wh-" I suddenly felt very sick and I heard someone yelling. Yelling. My head started to hurt. "Guh!" I rocked back but something held my wrist then there was a searing pain. I saw her grin with red eyes.

"A name can hold all that is not known." she breathed excitedly with a large grin gracing her lips. "Even what I can't speak!" then she let me fall at least fifty feet to the ground. Then as the pain from the hit suddenly spiked...

I opened my eyes to see my room and Deidara above me with Hidan at his side. I couldn't move or even breathe. Then I felt my body again. I arched my back and inhaled deeply then moved around on the floor as I gasped and sat up choking. I felt great pain in my left wrist. I grabbed it and sucked in air through my teeth. I saw a mark on it. It was two circles but the second had a line coming out of it. ; . I stared at it and felt the pain slowly fade. My breathing was hard when someone put their hand on the left side of my face and guided me to look at them.

I met the beautiful red eyes of Itachi. I felt lighter then when he asked. "Are you okay?" I nodded and sighed when he pulled me into his arms.

Looking up I said, "I don't know what to do." He drew his eyebrows together. "I don't know anything anymore. I need my answers." I said in a determined voice. I pulled away and stood up. Someone's arms closer around me and I saw familiar blonde hair. I smiled. "Deidara. I'm fine please don't worry." He let go. And looked at me unsure but nodded.

"Mizu. What the hell was that ,un?!" he said worried.

"I can't answer that question." I said placing my hand on his shoulder. "I don't know the answer myself. Please. I'm fine." I said ushering him out of my room.

"Mizu. What did you see? I can tell that something happened." Itachi said from behind me.

"Please leave me for now. I promise that I'll tell you when I know. I looked back and turned my body. I pulled him close to me and looked up at his red eyes. He put his arm around my waist and caressed the side of my face with the back of his hand then kissed me long and slow. "I promise. It'll be alright." I whispered on his lips. His arm tightened as if not wanting to let go. I didn't want him to either but I needed to think. And I never could think straight when he was near me.

Itachi finally pulled back and put his forehead to mine. "Mizu, don't make promises that you can't keep." he kissed my forehead and them left me there to think.

Tears stung my eyes. He saw straight through me. He knows I'm scared and weak. But now I had things to do.

"Are you there anymore?" I asked.

I got no response. I closed my eyes to hold back the tears. Somehow now I felt hollow. Somehow. I was lonely.

I laid down and closed my eyes. Today was ruff and I had a few hours before I had to be up.

I slowly opened my eyes I the light that filtered in my room. I sighed. I didn't want to get up. I actually felt drained still from that jutsu. I sat up and looked around drowsy. I pulled myself from bed and stripped off my clothes before stepping into the bathroom for a cool shower. The water beat against my skin and I just stood there. In the warmth, I focused. Suddenly I felt different. I felt something in me change or move. My breath caught and I felt a pain in my chest. I clutched my chest and sank to my knees in the water. I turned he water off and then noticed something wet was still on my face. I was crying? I felt the sting and gave into my emotions and hugged my knees while I sobbed.

I came out and dressed in a fish net shirt and gray pants. I slid on the cloak before leaving my room. It was only a little past noon so most of the members would be out on missions. Even Itachi was gone so I had no one to talk to.

"Mizu?" I turned and saw Konan in the hall. "Leader is asking for you" I nodded and followed her to his office. When I went in I saw Hidan and Kakuzu.

"Yes sir?" I asked.

"Kakuzu is going on a bounty mission. You are to accompany him and Hidan." He said setting a file down on his desk.

I sighed. "Yes sir."

We've been walking for an hour already. Catching and killing the guy was no problem but the closest bounty trading post was still miles away. We didn't have far left and I was praying for a rest. The whole time I was looking at the mark on my wrist. It was just like a semicolon. But it burned. It burned whenever I thought of home. What am I talking about? I don't have a home. I lost myself in my thoughts.

"We're here." Kakuzu said as we came up to a large building.

"Umm. I'll stay outside and watch." I said stopping at the steps.

"It won't be long." Kakuzu said walking in with Hidan.

I sat down and laid back, watching the sky. Suddenly I thought about Shikamaru and Choji and Ino. My wrist hurt as grabbed it with a hiss.

"You okay?" Hidan said coming out and sitting beside me. He set his scythe down and looked at me. I nodded and closed my eyes.

"What are you doing out here?" I asked sitting up.

"That bastard Kakuzu is counting the money." He grumbled.

"Guess that'll take a long time since he's worth a lot." I sighed. I leaned on Hidan's shoulder and closed my eyes.

It only seemed moments before I felt three chakra signatures coming our direction. My breath caught in my throat and I jumped up.

"You feel it too? Hidan said grabbing his weapon.

My fear was confirmed when the three familiar men came into sight.

I felt tears sting my eyes again and my wrist burn when I breathed, "Asuma."
