KIM'S P.O.V
We were walking down the sidewalk on our way to the dojo. His arm was around my waist. I suddenly took his arm from around my waist and held his hand, in one swift motion.
"What was that?" He asked with a smirk.
"What?" I asked, pretending I didn't know what he was talking about.
"Why do you always have to hold my hand?" He asked.
"What, does it bother you?" I asked, not wanting to answer his question.
"No it's just, when we're walking you have to hold my hand, when we're watching a movie, when I spend the night at your house, when we're eating, when we're on the swings, when we're at a karate tournament, wh-" I cut him off.
"Okay, I get your point." I said. "I don't know Jack, I guess holding your hand makes me feel...... I don't know, safe, protected. I guess, when I hold your hand I know your right there with me." I muttered just loud enough for Jack to hear.
"Oh, so you don't feel like I'm right there with you unless your hand is in mine?" Jack asked confused.
"Yeah" I said quietly. To be honest this is really embarrassing.
"You know I'm always there even when you can't see me" Jack said obviously trying to make me feel better. "And by the way, you don't have to be embarrassed, I think it's really cute, and I'll keep it in mind whenever I'm around you"
"No, I'll be okay Jack you don't have to hold my hand every time we're together" I said.
"Its not like I hate holding your hand Kim, it's okay, if threats what makes you feel better then that's what I'll do." Jack retorted.
"Thanks Jack, your the best boyfriend a girl could have." I said, giving up.
"Oh, I know" Jack said.
"Ugh, your stupid cocky attitude always ruins the perfect moment" I joked. "But I love you for it." I said, reaching up and giving him a kiss on the lips.
From that day on when ever me and Jack were around each other he would hold my hand.
