I turned on my laptop, hearing a beep signaling that a I got a new email. I opened it up to find that it was from my amazing boyfriend, Jack Brewer.
We have been dating for a good 8 or 9 months now. A few weeks before Christmas my mom told me that we would be moving because of a job transfer. Naturally I was really upset but my mom told me it would only be for a year at the most. I wasn't as upset once I heard that we would be moving back but I was still upset that I wouldn't be able to spend Christmas with Jack and the gang.
There was a video link in the email Jack sent me. I clicked on the link and ended up seeing a picture of Jack, holding a guitar sitting on a chair. I pressed play and discovered that it was a video of Jack singing mistletoe by Justin Bieber. I laughed as he started walking around while singing and ended up falling down. By the end of the video I was crying. I got a new email after I finished the video, it was another video from Jack. Opened that one and it was just Jack talking about how he fell in the video and that he loves and misses me.
I put down my laptop and picked up my cell phone . I went through my contacts until I found Jack's name. I put my phone on speaker as it rang.
"Hello?" I heard Jack's groggy voice say into the phone, when he finally answered.
"Hey Jack, what's up, did I wake you?" I asked.
"No I was just at the dojo, sparring with Jerry and he kicked me in the stomach." Jack replied.
"Oh, well are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." Jack replied in his normal voice. "So what are you and your family doing for Christmas?" Jack asked.
"Nothing I think, why?" I fired back.
"Why not, cant your amazing boyfriend ask you a question without you get suspicious?" Jack asked.
"Who said I was suspicious, all I asked was why." I stated. "Anyways, what are you and the guys doing for Christmas?" I asked.
"I'm wishing that a shooting star will take me to wherever you are." Jack said.
"If I was near you right now I would kiss you" I said.
"O coarse the one time that it actually works you thousands of miles away." Jack complained.
"I know." I joked before looking at the clock. it was 4:30. My mom always starts cooking a 4:30, and I help her. "Jack I have to go but maybe we can face time, once I'm done eating dinner?" I asked mor then said.
"Sure, call me when you done, I'll be waiting right next to my computer" Jack said.
"Alright bye, love you" I said.
"Love you too, bye" Jack said before we hung up.
JACK'S P.O.V
I hung up the phone with Kim and looked over at Rudy as I breathed a sigh of relief.
"How could she not tell you were at an airport?" He asked. "It's so loud here I couldn't even hear what you were saying and I'm sitting right next to you." Rudy said.
"I know, that was really close, I don't know how she didn't hear all the noise but I'm glad she didn't." I admitted.
"Me to, yo" Jerry butted in. "That would have ruined the whole surprise man" Jerry finished right as our flight was called. We all got up and gathered our stuff, before walking over to the gate. once we finally got onto the plane we sat down and I was getting ready to turn off my phone when I received a text message from Kim.
Really sorry but we cant face time later, I have to go with my mom to pick up my cousins from the airport :( sorry, I love you- Kim
The message read. I quickly typed back,
It's okay, I'll call you tomorrow morning, love you more- Jack
before turning off my phone.
I laughed as I thought about the fact that the 'cousins', her and her mom were going to pick up was me and the gang. You see, I planned a trip to go and visit Kim for Christmas, but she doesn't know that. I only talked to her mom and dad and the gang about it. Kim honestly thinks that she is going to spend a week with her cousins but instead she will have a week with me and the gang.
When the plane landed I grabbed my suitcase from the overhead compartment and started making my way off the plane with the gang right behind me. We got off the plane and I was really thirsty so I went over to a vending machine a got a cherry coke. I made my way back over to the guys, and started talking to them as we waited for Kim and her mom to show up.
After a few more minutes I heard a girl shriek.
"JACK" That was obviously Kim.
I turned around and set my pop and suitcase down before holding my arms out to Kim. She ran at me and jumped into my awaiting arms I hugged her tightly while spinning around so that I stayed on my feet.
"You still think your going to have a terrible week?" I joked
"Yes." She mumbled into my neck.
"Fine then." I said, as I put her down. "I'll just transfer my ticket back for a ticket today and be on my way" I joked as I picked up all my stuff.
"I was kidding." Kim whined, pulling on my arm.
"That's what I thought" I said before setting my stuff back down and giving her another hug. Once we let go she gave all the other guys a hug before we left for her moms car.
"So guys we live in a penthouse that only has 3 bedrooms and 2 of them are already taken so I figured Jack and Kim could sleep in Kim's room, and the rest of you could sleep I the guest bedroom." Kim's mom said as we approached there apartment building.
There apartment was nothing like what you would think it would be like. It was huge. There was a living room, a kitchen, a screening room, a balcony, and an upstairs. They had an elevator leading straight up their apartment. We walked around the apartment, staring in amazement until Kim pulled on my leather Jack. I looked at her and opened my mouth to ask her what she was doing but before I could say anything she pulled me up the stars. She dragged me to her room and shut the door.
"What's up Kim?" I asked her confused.
Instead of answering me she smashed her lips onto mine. I was confused at first, but I eventually kissed back. After a good 3 minutes we pulled away panting.
"What was all that about?" I asked.
"You told me you would be waiting underneath the mistletoe for me, and that's where I wanted to find you." She told me as she pointed at the ceiling. I looked up and surely enough there was mistletoe. I smiled at her before kissing her again.
"I love you" I said with a slight chuckle.
Sorry that I haven't updated in forever, I just have a really demanding life, I will try to update more frequently but you know how well that works.
